I applied for a student loan with this company
via phone w/ loan rep named Robert on July 18th. I was todl then that
he would email the loan application that night, I could fill it out,
along with my co-signer, and it would be processed and tuition funds on
the way in about 5 days. I waited two days & then called because I did
not recieve the promised application via email. It was sent at that
point & I recieved it immediately. I filled it out and faxed it back
immediately.
I called several days later tos ee if it had been processed &
if therew as anything else I needed to add. I was told no it hadn't
been processed as they had just scanned it into their system (they had the
application 2 days before scanning it) but that theyeverything they
needed I was upset but said ok I would call bcak next week. i called
again on 8-1-07 to check the status & was told it was put on hold due to
missing info. I asked why Iw as never contacted & was told they didn't
have time to contact people & that I need to call them every single day
to be sure everything is ok. I asked tos peak with a supervisor or above
& was told there was no one I could talk to there & no one could help
me.
I asked if I fax in the missing info when I could expect my funds
as my classes start in two weeks. They told me they couldn't tell me
that & could not guarantee I would have the funds in time for classes to
start. no one there seems real interested in helping me resolve this,
either. I wanted other to know of this so they avoid going through this company. Why offer a service if you are not prepared to follow through
This company's poor customer seruvice & inability to communicate with me has prevented me from purchasing the books and tools that will be necessary for me to start classes. If I do not recieve the funds in time I will not be able to pay for & therefore pay for my college tuition
