I paid this company the amount of $2899 in early August of 2009 to help working out loan modification with the bank. However, after a few months while there was no progress and things become quite clear to me that this company is not doing any good, and what they promised is just a false tactic to get me to sign the contract and get the money, I requested the refund on 01/17/2010 via email to Joyce **, the contact person I've worked with. However, after a month without getting any check, I emailed back to Joyce and Long ** (who is responsible for the finance) called me back asking me to wait until the end of February and I agreed. On 02/26, Joyce informed that the check is ready and asked me to sign the release form.
I signed and faxed it back on 03/01, and once I received and deposited the check on 03/08, but the check is returned on 03/09. I then contacted Joyce and Long on 3/10 and they promised to issue new check, but until today, nothing's happened. I called Long twice today (03/12) and he told me that Fred **, the one who will issue me the check, does not return the call and asked me to follow up with him. Joyce told me all she could do is to file the request again and again for me.
Until this time 4 pm of 03/12, I have done all I could, but it seems like this company is not returning my refund so I ask for help. I still don't get the refund of $2174.25 as promised after almost 2 months and lots of wasted follow-up calls. I'd like to get my refund back as promised. Meanwhile, I strongly believe I'm being cheated by the company which has given me falsified data and has me talk to its lawyer (Shawn **) to convince me I should be qualified to get the loan modification. By making a client to sign the contract, the company immediately gets 25% of the $2899 deposit without any work. Therefore, I would recommend that this company be examined for legitimacy and hope to help others from being their victims. I have requested the refund of the amount $2174.25 on 01/18/2010 and the company issued a check on 2/26, but the check is bounced back on 03/09.
