I got my taxes prepared on 01/23/2010. Was quoted the price of $100.00-186.00 to prepare taxes. The preparer stated he was going to charge me $100.00 because of wait time. Receive my federal refund on 02/03/2010, direct deposit in the amount of $2700.00 (suppose to be $3282.00). Contacted Shannon, she stated that these fees are $10.00 for bank transaction and $570.00 software transaction fee. Shannon stated, she tells her customer these fees. She prepared a relative taxes and did not state this to her. I checked their website 1040.com/taxcity it states they do not charge hidden fees. I have tried to contact Cyrus-owner and Shannon-office manager by phone and email neither has contacted me back.
