Mr. ** phoned and stated that he was a debt collector for Check 'N Go. I explained to him that my husband had not been able to pay this account in full due to his being gravely ill and confined to a nursing home. Mr. ** stated that he did not want to hear any of that and if I didn't want him to go to the nursing home and confront my husband, I had better make some sort of arrangements to pay.

For fear of his going there to arrest my husband like he stated, I set up three payments to be deducted from my unemployment which is the only income I have at this time due to expenditures for medical devices for my husband. Mr. ** was extremely rude and threatening. He stated that if any of this was a lie, he would come and arrest me for fraud and writing a bad check. I had intentions of talking with Check 'N Go to make arrangements since we have been traveling out of town on several occasions to get surgery for my husband and seeing specialists. My husband has been in two comas within the last seven months and placed on a ventilator just two weeks ago.

They told me that they were a law firm trying to collect debt and that they were willing to work out a payment plain instead of going to court. I have paid off $700 of the debt. However, two of my payments did not clear my bank and John from Vision Credit Solutions stated he is taking me to court and he is going to embarrass me and contact my supervisor to let her know what is going on. This is against federal law to contact my supervisor regarding any type of personal financial information. I am trying to pay off this bill. My complaint is that they are calling me at work, screaming at me that he is going to embarrass me and they are going to garnish my wages, contact my supervisor and let them know of my financial information.

I had a message to call this gentleman, Adam, back about an account they purchased from Check n Go. He was far from a gentleman screaming at me about how I owed this and I better pay up or he would sue my *** and get all he can. How scary is it that these companies buy debt and use intimidation to make people scared. I recorded the conversation so when we do go to court I am sure the judge will be interested to learn that Mr. Adam claims he can get any judgment cause judges love him! Eery professional, I am sure!
