I sent paperwork to renew my Cuban passport along with a money order for $370 for the renewal. My paperwork was sent back due to they needed a money order to be able to renew my passport so it was lost or misplaced at their office. When I received my paperwork back, I went to USPS were I bought my money order and explain to them what had happen. They said my money order had not been cashed so I can fill out a paper to get my refund back for $370. It would take up to 60 days.
I filled out the papers, got my money then months later, I received a letter from USPS saying that my money order was cashed and I had to repay them back. They sent me a copy of the cashed money order, cashed by Cuban Interest Section and now I have to repay back USPS and Cuban Interest scammed me for $370. And I've written them letters, faxed, notarized, certified and sent it to them and I get no response. My account on USPS is growing with interest to pay them back and this people have cheated me out of $370. What can I do? Please help!
