Dermapril

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I ordered this product on line on Saturday 11/21.Did not actually get the product till a week later. I should have had 14 days to try this cream. Well I haven't had it for two weeks and they already charged my debit card the $79.97 + $5.95 for shipping. I have cancelled this product and I plan on closing my checking account so they won't be able to get any more money from me. But whats intresting is that this company and cleanwhites the company other people have been complaining about have the same address.

By the way I also ordered cleanwhites and have tried to cancel my order but have not been able to. As you can see they have taken me for a ride. I don't really know what else to do.

I saw an ad on the internet for a "free" sample of Dermapril Wrinkle Cream. You only pay $3.95 for shipping. If you like the product and don't contact the company, they send you the product each month at a cost of $79.95. If you don't want the additonal shipments you can cancel online. I canceled any future shipments, but did not realize that in tiny print below the offer it says that you must return the trial sample even if it is empty. Because I thought the sample was free, I misunderstood and did not send the empty container back. I was then billed $79.95 on my credit card account. When I called the rep enlightened me regarding how their process worked. Indeed, in the fine print it does say you must return the empty container, but the ad itself is completely misleading. This is a scam! And it is working for them. When I offered to return the sample, I was told that I had missed the 14-day window to do so.

I ordered a "free" sample of Dermapril Wrinkle Cream over the internet and only authorized a small shipping charge for my "free" sample and now they have charged me $79.95 for another month's supply which I did not authorize. I specifically told the girl who called to "confirm" my order that I was authorizing only the small shipping charge and to NOT charge me for anything else. She ended up hanging up on me and that should have been my first clue all was not well. I called today and they indicated because I called after the 15 day trial period, it's too late to cancel the $79.95 but will cancel any future orders. They claim that it is spelled out when you order but that is not true. Had I know that I was signing up for anything beyond the "free" sample I would not have done so, therefore, they must trick you into this in order to obtain your credit card number and that to me is a sign of a crooked company.

I ordered Dermapril on Dr Oz websiteon Aug 7, 2009. My credit card was charged $3.95 s&h as expected. Package was received on Aug 12, 2009 and accompanying paperwork advised me that I would have to return the Free Trail before Aug. 23, 2009 or they would bill me $79.95 plus $5.95 s&h monthly. I immediately cancelled my (subscription) and am now trying to get my credit card company to refuse any additional charges before they are posted.

I ordered this product because Barbara Walters on the tv show "The View" said it was wonderful. I ordered the free sample... you pa shipping of $3.95. Two weeks later they charged my credit card for 79.95. I called and they said I was supposed to cancel my account within 10 days to avoid paying the full price. I had no recourse. I didn't like the product at all and am not using it.

I purchased their product, Dermapril SP from their web site on June 26, 2008, with a 14 try out period & I only pay shipping of $5.95. it stated I would be billed $69.95 for the product until after the 14 day trial period. I received the product on July 3, 2005 with a receipt enclosed that said I had until July 14, 2008 to return it. Nothing was said about the $69.95 charge & right there I didn't have 14 days to evaluate it. I used the product, which wasn't working, through July 6, 2008 & notified them with an email that same day that I was cancelling & returning it to them.

On July 9th I received an email from them giving me the address to return it to & it said I had 10 days from the date on the email which was July 9, 2008 to return it. I typed up a letter dated July 9, 2008 saying that I was returning it during the 10 day grace period & to please refund my $69.95 that they charged to my account. I mailed it that same day through USPS priority mail. On July 18, 2008 I received another email from them saying they received the return I made with no mention about reimburseing my $69.95.

I emailed them this morning, July 23, 2008 about it & also called the phone number above, only to get a voice message machine which I left a brief message about having a question with my name & phone number. It said I would be contacted in 24 hours.
