I am writing this for my 95-year-old mother-in-law. My husband and I took her to Mr. French, who sells hearing aids. He told us that if we were not 100% satisfied, he would return her money. Well the first one went down so far in her ear that it really hurt her, and she sent it back. The second was so tight she had trouble getting it out, so I took the hearing aid back to Mr. french and told him we were unsatisfied.
Mr. French agreed to give us a refund. She paid $900 originally, but the refund we recived was only for $745. I called him and was told we hadn't given him enough time to get it right. It has been almost three months, back and forth and no luck resolving this situation. I believe that she is being taken advantage of because of her age. In reality, she has a good mind and still lives alone. If someone tells you they will return you money it means all of it.

Mildred is a elderly lady. Each trip is 100 miles, plus we drove 450 miles to take the product back to Rapid City, and now she will not have enough money to pay for another hearing aid. Just because you're elderly doesn't mean you can be taken advantage of.
