Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I was charged 79.99 for AGERENUE, I NEVER ordered this product, I never recieved this product and when I tried to call the customer service reps, I first spoke with Jennifer, I don't know how this person ever got a job as a customer service rep, but she was the ruddest person I ever spoke with on the phone. She did not want to hear what I had to say and she said to call my bank and fill a dispute with MY bank about the charge.

I then asked to speak with a supervisor, and there was not one available. She said to call back. I then called today 12/2/09 and talked to KIM he was the lead rep, once again there was no supervisor available. He did not hear what I was saying, he basicly said I ordered this product and there was nothing I could do, he was also very rude, he had a heavy accent. He also told me to call my bank, so now I have to call my bank they will cancel my card, I have to wait 10 days for my card to arrive and I am being punished.

This company is the worse with the customer service and NO ONE should ever order this product. They are only out to get your money and does not want to hear anything has to say. Very upsetting I am out 79.99 and no one can help.

Following a weblink I ordered a two week supply of AGERENUE, for $6.95. If in fifteen days I did not cancel, I was to be sent a bottle with a thirty day supply. I was not informed as to the cost of the first bottle, wich turned out to be $79.99. A charge for the thirty day supply was the same. I called to cancel and to dispute the charges only to be told that I had no recourse as their policy stated no returns. As of this filing, I have not yet received the second bottle of product. I was told the problem was mine because I didn't call in a timely fashion.

I ordered an introductory bottle of Acaifuel vitamins. I paid for shipping and handling. In about 40 days, I recived 3 bottles of the same product. There was no paperwork in the package at all. I did not know where it came from or how much they were charging me. So, I sent it back to the return address that was on the front of the package. The in February, I received my WaMu crredit card bill. A company called INCLINECS charged my $149.90.

When I call to find out what I was charged for, I was told that I was charged for the Acai pills. I told Craig, the rep. that I had returned the pills. He told me that I could not send them back without a RMA (Return merchandise authorization number). I told him that there was no paperwork in the package at all and I had returned it already. He told me that the company did not give refunds without the RMA # and he would not give me the number because the 30 day expiration for returning the merchandise would have passed before I could return it to them. I tiold him that I had retruned it and I would contact you because this was not right.

The package has not returned nor has the refurn for the merchandise that was returned to them. I was charged $149.90, money I do not have. During this recession, this has stressed me out so much because I had to take from my babysitting money to begin to pay this bill for merchandise that was returned to them within the 30 days.

I ordered a free trial of a diet drug and paid for the shipping costs of $7.95 by credit card. Two weeks later I was charged an additional $149.90 on my credit card, without my authorization. In fact I didn't even recognize the company making the billing and had to research the internet to find out who they were. After researching the internet and contacting the BBB in Texas, I discovered that these companies claimed that I subscribed to receive additional products from them on a quarterly basis. I did not so agree. If these terms were on the web site, they were certainly hidden- and certainly not obvious or conspicuous as I believe is required.

Although I have contacted my credit card company, canceled the credit card and also filed a BBB complaint, I am just one of thousands of victims of these two companies (please see Rip Off reports, consumer complaint boards etc.), and there are thousands more of these scam companies operating in the same way. I believe that the rules need to be strengthened to protect consumers from these negative option scams-as the have rpaidly proliferated over the internet. I also believe that the two companies mentioned above, have been moving around the country (used to be in St.Louis, Mo. and just recently registered as a corporation in Texas). I also believe that the two owners have been previously involved in other similar scams.

Luckily for me, it was only an unauthorized charge of $149.90 on my credit card, which I am disputing.
