Mr. T approached us in May of this year to
remodel a house that we had just purchased from
his wife who is a real estate agent. His estimated
bid was $74,000 for the renovation of a 1300sf home.

Half way through the renovation I was told that the
project would run $10,000 over budget. After I paid
him another $10,000, he kept coming back for more money. I finally stopped at $110,000. He has NOT

completed the work as promised in his ORIGINAL ESTIMATED BID, and some of the work is shoddy. The grout in my bathroom has disappeared in several places. The list goes on and on. I have had to hire other contractors to repair his work, which he states he will NOT GUARANTEE unless I pay him another $4,150, and even at that he states that he will determine if warranty issues are valid.

I had to call the plumbers who he sub contracted with to repair a showerhead that was
defective. They stated to me they called Mr. T
with the replacement and that he NEVER contacted them to schedule the repair. Mr. T took $110,000, failed to complete the renovation as stated in his original bid, used inferior products
and shoddy workmanship. Stay FAR AWAY from

A Cut Above!

I have had to pay out more money on top of the $110,000 to finish the job that was originally supposed to cost me $75,000. I have had several licensed contractors look at the work and tell me that I was taken to the cleaners. These contractors have strongly recommended that I turn Mr. T in to the Texas Attorney General Office. Bottomline, is severe economic hardship.
