For several months last year, my husband leased gas bottles for his welding. He paid $41 each month. Then he found out that he could have leased them for $91 per year. He did not try to recover any of the overcharge but in October 2009 he paid $91 for a year's lease. Every month since then, we have received a bill for $41 plus late charges and ugly letters. We have called the Stephenville office as well as two of their other offices and explained the situation to them. They admitted they received the $91 payment but insisted we still owe them for another month. Now they are threatening to come pick up the bottles even though we have paid a year's lease. I am now planning to file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General. Except for the $400 overcharge, only the frustration of having to put up with the harassment.
