We put in an inground pool the fall of 2008 by american pool company in Haysville Kansas. They didn't get it finished, but said they would come out in the spring to finish. When spring got here, they came back out and then told us they completed the pool. There were several things not finished and then some sloppy work on other things. The one we were most concerned with was the bottom of the pool. There were huge dents all over the bottom of the pool. We went back and forth with this all summer long into the fall. They claimed it would take too long to fix and they didn't wanted to interupt our swim time, so they would fix it in the fall, well, we fell for this.
Finally in the Fall we had contacted them so many times about this (I have all my documentation) they said we will take care of it. They didn't tell us they were coming out, but they did and then claimed it was fixed, after 2 days? they also told us they went ahead and closed up the pool for us, this made us very concerned, we didn't ask or want that done. Well, come this spring on May 2nd, we opened our pool, much to our horror, it was 10 times worse than what it was before. The liner looked like a washboard, the liner was also pulling away from the sides. On the bottom of the pool was not only big dents, but there were big bubble type things all over the bottom of the pool and debris under the liner making it really bumpy, it was horrible. It look like someone did this on purpose it was so bad.
We contacted american pool several times. The person who answered for their business said someone would contact us, never happened. I left messages with the Salesperson who Ron said to go thru, no answer. I sent an email to the company and Ron himself with pictures, nothing. We had another company finally come out and give us an estimate on what it would cost to fix it and he said, I thought when I came out here, these were just going to be tiny issues and maybe you all were just being picky, he said I had no idea it was going to be this bad.

The company that came out to give us an estimate said the liner is ruined, it will have to be replaced and we knew it would.
