Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I have an Aroma Juice Extractor Model ACJ-250. While using the juicer to juice grapes, the entire plastic housing and metal juice parts exploded. Pieces of plastic and metal shards flew all over our kitchen. I received a punctured wound to my hand and a bruise to my chest/neck area. I am extremely lucky that I was not seriously hurt.

We spent an entire morning cleaning every surface of our kitchen. Being that it was grape juice, our ceilings and walls will need to be repainted since they are stained. The plastic panel covering our fluorescent lights in the ceiling was shattered by the impact of flying pieces.

Just The Aroma AHP-303SB, has a plastic knob that says Off, Low, Med, High...

When taking one unit apart, I noticed the electrical contacts will only be ON or OFF! There is NO Low,Med,High electrically possible, with the configuration used. ;o)

Bought a AROMA MODEL #717-16 SER# B-630524 cooker/steamer.

13JAN 04 Around 1:00 PM We wanted some rice with lunch.. I had used it before, and noted it steam was was coming out the hole on the lid ok seemed normanl, but noticed when it was finished it made a mess on the counter it must had been spitting out about 2 feet and all over the counter.

I measured equal amount just the way the cooking instructions stated. Well today I made double sure I did everthing by the book again. Everthing started out just fine, but made a point to come back to check, again noticed steam and had the lid with the hole turned to the left to go over the sink in case it wast going to be spetting again, as I was looking through the top to see all the bubbling going on it some of the rice and wet/water realy spitting my wife was their also because I called and asked her to look at this as she said this can not be right, I reached to right to upplug it, some of the hot and I mean Hot spit up in my face, needless to say it hurt like you know what...Because we were going to take it back it should not be doing this.
