I purchased power save units called ps1200,ps3200 from chris f. about may 25 09. these units are dedigned for residental and commerical coustmers respectively. these units are designed to save 10% to 25% on their electric bill guranteed by chris f. I installed one of these unit in residental and two of them in subway sandwich shop and one in valero gas station. I prchased five more units from chris ps3200, for $430.00 each unit. I purchased these units on 07/06/09 and intalled one of these unit.

On aug 15/09 all the units I previously installed their bill went compared with last year's same month. I called chris about the situation and he told me that he has to a eveluation on all my custmers by collecting their 12 month utility bills.I returened all of his unit on 08/31/09 because their was money back gurantee within two months.I spent about $4500.00 on these units and other material, labor to install and remove them. Chris kept telling me he will return my money but he never did.

As I was going throuh this I talked to PG&E engineers and Modesto irrigation Disrict, they both told me that these units will not work because most of their custmers have true power (kwh) meters. these unit only work whoever has apparent power (kva) meters. Only industrial or large commericial bulidings have these meters. These units with capacitor banks are worthless in general application.

On their video it shows that with these units in circuit the amps go down on a motor and the power factor goes up or gets better which is a clever scam, their video is on power-save.com. This chris I was dealing with said he has a degree in chemical engineering. True power is measured as voltage times amps times power factor so if this unit decrease amps and coreects pf it is a wash. apparen power is measured as voltage times amps and it will work in this situation but most coustmers don't have this type meters.

As far as I am concerend these people are scamming general public and sombody like consumer affairs has to put stop to it, and take these people out of business. I personally lost about $4500.00 total because this guy chris promised me about these power saving units through a clever scheme which I mentioned earlier. I haven't got a dime out of it. I personally can't cheat general public because of morality, honesty, good service because I am certified electrician through eliete IBEW. there are other companies doing same including power-save out of san louis obispo, ca and AZ power-save out of arizona scamming people out of their savings.
