During a mowing lawn service at my home, one of the crew members was running a weed eater around the perimeter of the house and while operating around the screened in pool area,he slashed splits into the screening in several areas. I notified Mr. Tracy by email first contact, explaining the situation and asked him to come by and look at the damage. His response was that the homeowner is responsible for such problems and he could not replace screening.

Second contact was made by phone. Message left on answering service with no response at all. I don't know how to proceed from here. Will get an estimate for replacing damaged screening, and try to get witness statements as to the damage, but what can I do if Mr. Tracy continues to ignore the situation?

Splits in screening have allowed lizards and snakes to enter pool area. I have animals that spend much time in the decking and lanai, and have already had one sick cat from ingesting a captured skunk and I had to chase a snake out.

Patricia should have the screen repaired and sue the company in Small Claims Court to recover her expenses.
