Mr. John installed an irrigation system in our property. It broke several times. It took many phone calls and aggravation to get him to come. Every time, he charged for opening and closing the water, even after we proved him that it was already paid. Since this is the property of my parents, he took advantage of them charging and taking money from them constantly. Recently, the timer he installed (wrongly) broke and he doesn't respond to change it. The water ran a couple of days straight for 24-hour period without being able to close the water. He gave no response. His answering machine is always full. And when you text him (the only way to somewhat communicate with him), he always lies about coming. After commenting with a couple of neighbors, they had similar problems - lies and poor work.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

Back in September 2007, we contracted Mr. ** of Mainstream Irrigation to install a sprinkler system in our home. We found out he did so without obtaining a construction permit. When the plumbing inspector for the twp came to our home, not only did he inform us that there was no permit obtained but that incorrect piping was used to install our system.
Since this time, we have contacted Mainstream Irrigation, specifically Mr. **, over 50 times to try to have this resolved. He called us once and knocked on my door once and stated he would be in touch with us within a week to remedy the problem. He kept blaming the Township of Freehold for all the missed appointments, etc.
I have since filed a complaint with BBB to which Mr. ** did respond. He stated that he used someone else's plumbing license on our contract and stated he did not know the twp changed their policy to copper piping. He also stated that he was going to work with us to resolve the issues. That was back in November 2009. We have tried to contact Mr. ** several times since, and we still have yet to receive a response!

Mainstream Irrigation improperly installed a sprinkler system in our home that did not pass twp inspections. They used the wrong piping and incorrect backflow preventor. There still remains an open permit for the sprinkler system. The latest estimate that we received from a different irrigation co was for $1500 to replace all piping as well as the correct backflow preventor. we still have an open permit for our sprinkler system, until the cirrect piping is put in. This will be an additional cost of $1500!
