I cannot get anyone to come and redo the sod which was planted. The sod is 1-2 inches above the established lawn and is entirely unaccepted. Once a Year is completely ignoring my calls saying they are sending a message. Yet, every day no one shows up. I called on Jan. 25th, Feb. 3, 4, and 7. I got no courtesy call. It was the same song and dance. I was told someone would be out on Feb. 3, 4, and now the 7th. No one has shown up. The grass may be established now. However, on the 25th of January, it was not. I expect the job to be corrected, if I can get them to show up. It's total irresponsibility on their part. I am totally beside myself because I am tired of waiting every day for someone to show and it does not happen.

On June 23rd 2009 a representative of ONCE A YEAR (termite and pest controll) Company responded to our home. The representative "Nick" treated the kitchen area around the stove for ants. During the treatment he dropped a tool on my stove-top causing the porcelain along the edge to break off. He immediately pointed out the mishap and said that he would make arrangement to have the stove repaired.
My wife and I were pleased that he accepted responsibility for the damage.
Nick said that he would inform his boss and get back in touch with us. Three days later, Nick came back to our home with a camera to take a picture of the damage. Once again he expressed his regret and said that the owner of the company would give us a call. No subsequent call was ever returned by ONCE A YEAR. My wife and I made several attempts to call ONCE A YEAR to no avail. The owner, Ken Smith never contacted us even when I spoke to his office directly on several occasions. I prepared a letter about my complaint and directed it to Mr Smith. I made a follow up call and the Secretary at ONCE A YEAR did acknowledge receipt of our letter of complaint. As of this date Sept. 14th 2009 We have not received any phone call or visit from anyone from ONCE A YEAR regarding the damage.
