Sharp Landscape did some contract work for me at my home. The damage was caused by the original drip system control valve Sharp installed. The original valve was plastic, which fell apart three weeks after installation. I was not at home, the water ran for three days. When I came home, the water was sill gushing, there was four inches of water in my backyard. Water had been running against my house for three days. As a result there was water damage to the interior flooring in my home.

Sharp replaced the broken plastic valve with a metal valve. At the time Simon replaced the valve he told me he would issue a check for any damages. The cost to repair the interior flooring is $631.25 and the additional water used for that month is $150.00. I sent Sharp a proposal for the repair work from the subcontractor who installed the floors in 2007 and the water bill on Oct 28, 2009. They received the information and we spoke a couple of times on the phone. Sharp wanted to send someone out to my house to repair the floors but I wanted the original contractor to do the work.

The last time I spoke to Sharp on Nov 3, 2009 they were going to issue a check for $781.25. I did not receive a check so I sent a certified letter on Nov 18, 2009 requesting payment or I would report them. I still have not received a check or any other communication from Sharp.
