I reported a infection that was not treated properly by physicians nor followed up by infection control at Nyack Hospital in 2003. It was called C-Diff clostridium differentiate. He was initially treated and declared cleared, discharged to Helen Hayes Hospital, where after two days it returned with a vengeance ( no preventive meds were given. He was discharged back to Nyack Hospital, where after one day on routine floor he was sent to ICU. He died there due to this infection.
Consequence was death, because he was 80 yrs old loss of SSI, Veteran Benefits etc. Biggest lose LIFE
no one followed this up even though there were other cases of C-Diff in this Hospital.Peerpetrators oare treating MD's,Infection Control from both Hospital Nyack HOSPITAL, NyAck, NY and Helen Hayes Hospital Haverstraw NY and the Health Dept. or not following this up.
