On 03/12/08 I took Roland to Prima Care due to blood & drainage coming from several areas in his head. The doctor stated he had a Bacteria infection caused from maybe scratching a bump in his head. They prescribed Roland Sulfameth-Trimeth Susp (cherry) 3 teaspoons by month twice daily and Nizoral shampoo 1%.

After continuing the treatment suggested by Prima Care Roland got worst and the swelling much more severe with a lot of drainage and blood. I called Prima Care and I was informed to continue medication until finished. Rolands head was now swollen 10 times the normal size and he is now in more pain. Due to taking wrong medication

On 03/24/08 I rushed Roland to Childrens Hospital because he did not get better. He got worst, I was informed to discontinue using the Sulfameth and to start Roland immediately on Grifulvin 500 tablets 2 tablets every night at bed time with fatty foods. Childrens also informed me Roland was highly contagious and to change his bed sheets and use special precautions when dealing with this type of infection. Prima Care stated he was not contagious and there are three women in the home. We are praying that we do not catch this infection.

Roland has now had a biopsy done by a specialist and 6 injections in his head. Prima Care FAILED TO TREAT HIM WITH THE RIGHT MEDICATION AND FAILED TO DIAGNOIS HIM CORRECTLY. THEIR NEGLIGENCE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I WANT THEM HELD ACCOUTABLE FOR THEIR MISDIAGNOSIS. Roland has T.Capitis Careon. He may have perminent hair loss, and scarring, his head has also been reshaped.
