My son rented an apartment with me as a co-signer. His lease was up and paid for until January 19, 2010. He turned in the key on the 18th. Since he turned in the key a day early, their system charged him $25 for the one-day rent of January 19th. I tried to explain that it may have shown up as a credit on their system but he received no $25 refund. Hence, he was charged twice for the one-day rental.
