I was given a move in sheet and told to write down a list of repairs and things that was damaged. I was told to do those things so that repairs can be made and to help from loosing my deposit. All of my windows except for one has any screens on them, my air quit working so I couldn't let any of the windows up and this happen on August 20th, 2010 and today is August 23, 2010. All my locks do not work on my door they have been torn where they do not work. The carpet is very dirty. The cabinets has a bad odor and is dirty. The dishwasher is old and outdated and was said that it needs to be replaced. The tile on the floor in the kitchen is torn badly. There are some sockets that are coming out of the wall and needs to be pushed back into the wall. The vent in my room does not blow out any air or heat.
I was told the only thing that will be fixed is the screen porch and it has not been fixed since I was told that. I have wires running through the yard that no one will come get them up. I am afraid my son may trip and get hurt off of them. When the bushes were cut down not only the bushes were thrown to the side also trash is along with it which I am afraid to pick up because there may be a snake hiding under it. Also there isn't enough lighting I know crime rates go up in the winter and I'm afraid someone will try and break in or a snake may be on my porch when I come home at night. I even tried to ask if I can transfer to another unit so I wouldn't break my lease I was rudely rushed off the phone instead of my concerns being heard.
