CrucialDomains.net is one of several sites evidently hosted by the parent company...
LeaderByChoice, Inc.
600 17th Street, Ste 2800
South Denver, CO 80202-5428
The sites they operate that I'm aware of are; www.amdomains5.net,
www.kp2domains.us,
www.kpm2domains.com
They are basically what I call Domain Name Pirates. They buy up countless domain names to prevent legitimate business owners that do have legal or legitimate rights to their own respective businesses' names and then try to sell them a domain name that generally costs $8.00 annually for a one time fee of $997 up to thousands depending upon the so-called demand for a particular name. Then the new owner has to pay the standard $8.00 plus annual fee with a reputable internet company anyhow.
This is obviously a flagrant abuse of the internet and posses a burden on many businesses owners that have to contend with these pirates that hold hostage domain names in vast quantities.
Patrick told me they were asking $997 for the domain I sought.
He told me they placed that domain on hold for me for 7 days.
Therefore, this complaint had no economic damage in my case because I refused to kowtow to these pirates, however, this complaint is to expose such companies with the hopes that overseers of the internet terminate such unscrupulous practitioners, whereby rightful and legitimate business owners can purchase domain names at the standard low fees available.
