Consumer Complaints & Reviews

Unauthorized charges for services that were not ordered appeared on telephone bill.

This company has been charging my phone for $16.30 and have not resolved the problem. I did not ask for the service and do not need the service. Just a big fraud. AT&T offers no help to the consumer.

In July, 2009, I got my phone bill from AT&T and there was a charge from a third party. One that I did not authorize. It was from Voicevox Voicemail Service for a monthly fee. I called the number to question this charge and was told that I signed up for it on a website. I am Very careful about the websites I visit and have absolutely no need for a voicemail service other than my answering machine in my home. I was assured by the person I spoke to that I would be credited and that they would cancel the service. I was credited and apparently the service was canceled, but something else has popped up.

I called the number that was given for ILD Teleservices(ISP-Secure)to question this charge on my AT&T bill that I received in the mail today. I was told that it is protection service for my computer and that I signed up for it. Once again I explained I did not sign up for this.I have been assured, once again, that I will be credited. Apparently they have my e-mail address. This is very disturbing to me and actually makes me quite angry. We have no children in the home so I know that my computer is not being used by anyone other than myself and my husband. What can be done about this?
