USMAC Law Group

Aliso Viejo, CA

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I called USMAC law group, spoke with Christian ** attorney, about a loan modification. They took $3,495 of my money to get me a loan modification over a year ago. They have done nothing to help me, they do not return my calls. This is a major scam, ripping off people that need help. Why hasn't the government stepped in on this? This is fraud! I am burdened with high interest and mortgage payments, upside down in my home. Any crooks like this are getting rich off of us who need help.

I obtained their loan modification services. I paid them $3200.00 and they did absolutely nothing. Every time I called, they had someone else supposedly working on my file. I went through three different loan specialists and each time, I had to start over. I found out about the foreclosure on June 23rd, 2010, which I did not even know. I tried to reach them and left several messages. They wouldn't even return my calls. With 10 months, I lost my home and could not even get anyone to return my calls.

I became unable to work on Social Security Disability. My husband is also on Social Security. We lost most of our savings due to the many bills that needed to be paid. We asked our mortgage company for a modification but were declined. I turned to USMAC law group and I gave them $3,800.00 in August 2009. I got a few phone calls but have not heard anything from them for 5 months. They do not return your phone calls or e-mails. They took my money and ran. There are many web sites stating that this company is a fraud and many people have been taken advantage of. If there is anything that you can do, please do something. These people should go to jail. We are on a fixed income and $3,800.00 was a lot of money for us. We still may lose our home.

I had contacted USMAC Law to help with my husbands loan modifications. I was charged close to $6500.00 up front. I have been dealing with them since then and I contacted the lenders and am now told that they have no communication with this company and have never recieved any documents regading my loan modification. I was told by the company I would get my full money back if they were unable to help me. No one calls me back and no one emails me back as well. I was last emailed on 05/05/10 and was told that a new rep was going to handle my case and give them 24hrs. I still have to hear from them.

I hired USMAC Law Group to do a loan modification in June 2009. On 12-2-2009, my home was up for sale, reason being lack of response and them dropping the ball, once they discovered their error. All my paperwork was discarded after the Saxon Mortgage twice did not get any response for USMAC Law Group regarding missing paperwork, which was my 2008 w2 as of Nov. 27, 2009, which they had in their possession. I found all this out after I had to plead and beg with someone to tell me what happened.

I sent USMAC Law Group an email explaining all that happened on January 21, 2010 and haven't gotten a response from them yet (3/02/2010). This to me is exactly what they did doing my modification. I have asked for my money back, because they fail to do what they were hired to do. Instead, my home I had for 19 years went into foreclosure and then I got a notice to quit. You can only imagine what I went through during this process. Instead of them helping me to get it straightened out, they left me with pleading and begging for my house back.

Finally, someone listened between the mortgage lawyers, the REO dept., Saxon, and now Ocwen, my new mortgage company. I wanted to know if I can sue this law firm for all the aggravation I had to go through because of their lack of concern for my well being. My home was put in foreclosure. My credit was affected more. Receiving a notice to quit really put me in a depressive state and unnecessary stress.

I paid the Law group a total of $3500 dollars to have a loan modification Or restructure of my home loan with Household Finance Corp. I was told by theLaw group that entire procee would only take 90 days, but here it is eight months later and I have received a Notice of Default and Election to Sell Under the Deed of Trust which according to the letter had been recorded and filed on 6-3-2009 in the Office the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, California.

I have make several calls, left numerous messages and even spoke to the branch manager, who assured me that he would get some results right away but that was just a lie in order to get me off the telephone. When I finally made contact with a rep. she told me that the lender (HFC)could only offer me a six month term and that they didn't other any long term or restructure loan programs. Which I didn't believe because I have a friend in a similar situation has I and HFC was able to assist them without any delays. In the meantime, Im out of $3500 dollars and facing foreclosure of my property in which myself and my three children reside in.
