Professional Lien & Title Service Corp. is placing mechanics liens on vehicles at body shops, mechanic shops, etc. They are also placing ads on the community newspaper with the sale dates of each vehicle. With that, they are supposed to put the address for the shop, phone numbers, and lien amount. Also, they are obligated to let us see the vehicle 1 week prior to the sale date up to 1 day before the sale date.
The first time we got to Professional Lien & Title Service office, they told us there was a 20% buyer's premium. The second time we arrived, they told us 30%. And the third time, they told us 50%! They placed wrong addresses and wrong phone numbers of the body shops, mechanic shops, etc. in the newspaper. When we called to set an appointment to see the vehicles 1 week before the sale date, they told us someone will call back. But no one ever called back, even after several times that we asked to set an appointment to see the vehicles at the shops.
The next day that we called (6 days before the sale), they told us that we can't see the vehicles and hung up the phone. We called several times to try and understand why they're doing that, and they just keep hanging the phone. They're hiding the vehicles in the shops. When we went to the shops to see the vehicles, the shops were hiding the vehicles and telling us to go away. And when we called Professional Lien & Title Service, they hung up the phone.
Please help us with this matter, as we are just trying to buy the cars by law, and they are not letting us. When we went there for the third time, they kicked us out and said never to come back again. They are doing liens illegally. Please help.
