I hired the Attorney Richard Graving with a $2000.00 retainer to sue a sign company that removed and destroyed my business sign without my permission, to also include the city of Warren for allowing the sign company to do so without my knowledge. The Attorney Richard Graving was working on the case but then had his secretary leave a phone message to me that he Richard Graving doesn't have time to do this case. This phone message came in one and a half years after I hired him.. the secretary left a phone number of the Attorney referal service for me to find a new Attorney to take over the case with no time left to file anything.
As a result the business revenue declined as the building set back and was not easily seen from the street without the business sign and had no choice but to lock the doors, I could no longer afford my home as I had based my mortgage on the income from the business. I lost everything I had built up over 4 years of the business and over 15 years of owning my own home with all the improvments I did on the home and also including the $2,000.00 for the retainer fee that the Attorney Richard Graving was paid up front and did nothing for me or my business.
