Erma of San Francisco (4/29):
I purchased a Beef Brisket from a Trader Joe's Market in Daly City, CA about March 26th. It was packaged on March 5th. It is 3-1/2 pounds. Since then I have moved and have not cooked the meat yet. It has been in the refrigerator all this time. Is it still safe to cook it now? It is still sealed but my daughter thinks I should just throw it away.
Hmmm ... before answering ths, we'd like to ask where the refrigerator has been during this time? Did Erma move and leave the refrigerator (and brisket) behind? Or did they accompany her on an auto transporter from Lodi, NJ?
