I went to Elf to get a tattoo on my wrist of a barcode. I had an exact picture of what I wanted to be done so he could make a stencil of it. I did not look at the tattoo until it was done and at that point Elf told me that the lines weren't going to look straight due to the swelling and the marks of the stencil that were still on my wrist. He then told me that in about a day or two I would see the results.

My result was nothing of a barcode. There are eighteen lines and only two are straight. Some aren't even colored in and most of the lines are touching each other.

I now have one of two options - get laser surgery to have it removed or get a cover-up tattoo. Laser surgery is expensive and only makes the tattoo lighter, not disappear. If I decide to get a cover-up, I'm stuck with a tattoo that I didn't want in the first place.
