Computer Shopper

I have been sent an invoice for a magazine subscription without having ordered anything. There are instructions to pay and where to send, but no contact information such as telephone number or website url. This cheap trick is low and an old one at that.

Next they will start sending the magazine then reporting me to credit.I have never had a subscription in my life and anyone can get someone's address!

Scott needs to send a certified, return-receipt-requested letter to the address on the invoice stating that he did not subscribe to the magazine, does not wish to receive it and will not pay for it. He should be sure to keep a copy of the letter and the postal receipt.

I was checking my Bank Account Online and noticed a charge from the Computer Shopper for $19.00 which caused my checking account to overdraw. I was charged $28.00 for the overdraw and $7.50 for taking what I had in savings out.

I called the Computer Shopper and talked with a lady and she said they would reinburse me the $19.00 but the $28.00 and the $7.50 I would have to take up with my bank. I called my bank and they said it was the Computer Shopper's mistake. I did not authorize them to take out of my checking account. I asked them where they got my cheking account number from, they said Tiger Direct.
I feel I was treated unfairly in this matter. I feel they should have to pay the charges which they caused by taking the money out of my account without my permission. I have tried several times to contact them online but with no luck. The bank gave me the 1-800 number but I can not find it.
I have been stressed out because I am an elderly person on a fixed income and I did not know how I was going to pay this. It does not help your recorded with the bank. I am worried all the time about this and I already am in poor health so this does not help my health.

Same drill. Terry should write to the address above and state that he did not authorize the charge and will not pay it.
