I ordered a new modem from AOL and asked for a DSL modem with an ethernet connection on 3/21/05.The AOL rep spoke borken English but said he understood and I would have the part in 3-5 days. Well, it showed up on 3/29/05 and it was the wrong modem. I called AOL again and it took 1-1/2 hrs until I found someone who could understand what I needed. Lola set up the order (Case # 150658174) and sent me off to shipping.

I asked to pay (out of my pocket) to have the modem sent overnight. I was again told they only have the ability to ship 3-5 days, while talking to James. He than sent me to his supervisor, Robin, who said she would do everything she could to assist my request, and that she would call me back within 2 hours. 3-1/2hrs. later I called back. It took 45 minutes to reach shipping, as no one seemed to know that there was a shipping dept. I had to speak with 6 people, none of which knew what to do except make me repeat my problem over and over again. According to everyone there was no record of any order under the case number I was given.

After basically screaming and throwing a fit, low and behold someone realized that there was a shipping dept afterall, but said that there was no one in there by the name of Robin. And so I was transferred and asked for a manager and got Mark, badge #16231. Mark proceeded to tell me he knew all about my order and that Robin had put in a request to have my shipment done "overnight" but that it could take 72 hrs to get an approval for that. So, how can they even promise 3-5 days when they have to wait for approval before shipping anything, according to Mark. When I asked who else I could talk to, he said that he was the highest ranking person on duty.

I asked for a telephone muber to AOL Corporate and he said "there isn't one" I asked for his direct call back number and he said "there isn't one". I asked to speak with someone in consumer complaints and he said "there isn't one". When I asked when I would hear about my request and if he could call me tomorrow (meaning today 3/30/05) he said he was off and couldn't call. When I asked if that meant I had to wait until he returned he stated "yes". When I questioned that he claimed that there were others copied on my request and that someone else would call me. You and I both know that is a lie and I so much as told Mark that.

I ordered a copy of 2005 Desk Planner and have not yet received it.....

I ordered two down blankets and 2 pillows. I received the blankets, and they are fine, but never got the pillows. Further, I never received an invoice with the total charges - only a taped tag listing contents. The PKT CTL#-3102565214 (2 pkg). Without a detailed invoice, I do not know the total charges, and if the rest of the order was backordered or sent on a separate shipment. Please investigate.

i ordered a aol planner for 9.95 + s&h and was offered a second planner for 4.95 with no shipping and handleing charges. i received 1 planner and was charged for the two that i originally ordered. i have contacted them and have never heard any more from them they sent me an e-mail saying they were checking my complaint but, i have never heard from them again. i also ordered a digital camera from them a while back and it only worked for a short time. the cost was almost 200.00. i have tried to contact the place they told me to contact for trouble shooting problems and the site is no longer in service. i have learned a valuable lesson. i will never order anything from aol again and i have also told a number of the people i know to be just as aware of ordering from aol shopping too. i had alot of faith in aol in the begining but, now i lost all faith in them. i am shopping around for another internet service. as soon as i find one i will probably change. i have been with aol a number of years.

I ordered 2004 Planner back in November and I still have not recived it. I spoked to one of your reps the first week of Feb.and she told me she would be sending it out A.S.A.P. and still I have not recieved it. Would someone please contact me A.S.A.P. and let me know whats going on.

I ordered 1 2004 Desk Planner and never recived it. Order # 2348.

I placed an order for the 2004 AOL Desk Planner, which was given free of charge in 2003 to me as an AOL customer. I hesitantly ordered the 2004 AOL Desk Planner offered to me at a price of over $30.00 which I considered over priced at the time but I enjoyed the benefits of the 2003 AOL Desk Planner. AOL immediately took my money but I never received the Planner. I am very upset with their taking my money with no intention of delivering the produce ordered, keeping and using my money at their discretion all this time and I never received the merchandise I ordered. I was told by a tech that users were notified in July or August and orders were placed at that time. I WAS NOTIFIED IN NOVEMBER OF 2003 at which time I placed the order. I have been sent from one place to another to another for answers with no answer at this time as to when I will receive the product or my money.

Also, I upgraded to the 9.0 Optimized offered by AOL and am charged an extra fee each month. When I upgraded it was never mentioned of an extra fee to be charged each month. This fee should have been mentioned in the very beginning for there to have been a decision made by the consumer as to the extra money spent each month. As I can tell with the 9.0 Optimized my services are slower than with the 8.0. I can tell no difference between the two services. Their prices are much higher than the bids I have received from others at this time. I will continue to compare prices for services with another provider before my final decision is made. But you can rest assured that in the very near furture I will drop my services with AOL as I am not satisfied with AOL's services or procedures.

I am very dissatisfied with AOL at this point in time and will never order from them again.

i ordered a 2004 AOL desk calendar a month ago, when will I receive it?

I ordered the annual desk planner paid for it by credit card and never received it

In July 2003 I ordered a Desk Planner. In October of 2003 I was informed that the order was misplaced. In November I re-ordered the Desk Planner from a lady stationed in INDIA. On 11-24-2003 my credit account was charged for a desk planned. On december 15,2003 after 6 phone calls It is apparent that AOL does not have there act together as NO ONE IS ABLE to provide me with information as to why I don't have the desk Planner that I have PAID FOR.

I ordered a mega pixel mini ditigal camera and I never recieved it. I was charged $113.31 for it I made a complaint about it and disputed the charge thru my bank. A tracking was done but I still didn't get my camera or my money. I don't know about you but this is a lot of money for me to waste. the consumer order is 132597006 this happened over a year ago.

I ordered a planner desk offer 2004 with aol. I dont received the planner. Plese let me know because I need the planner.

On Jan 2, 2003 my mastercard was billed $171.76 from AOL Welcome Screen. I used this Mastercard to pay my monthly service fee. When I called the number to see what this charge was about they stated that I ordered a digital camera which I did not order but my husband did. He has his own screen name and he gave Shop Direct his personal credit card information which they did not use.

We never received the camera and continually called AOL Shop Direct to tell them to refund my credit card. I also told them that they had no business using my credit card for such a purchase that I did not make. On Feb 24, 03 I spoke with Chantel and she stated she would credit my card and put in a claim & confirm with email. I heard nothing, nor did I recieve the credit. On 3/25/03 I called again and spoke with David. He stated that he would make sure he credited my card back. He too failed to do this.

On 3/31/03 I spoke with Celine and she stated that David did credit my Mastercard and that it would take 3-5 business days to go through. When I called my Mastercard to see if any credits went through, they had gone out of business. The name of the credit card Company was "First Consumers National Bank". When I received my final statement, I still had not received the credit. Then I moved and it took me till July 29, 2003 to pick up on researching what was going on. I called AOL Shop direct on this day and spoke with Carl. He stated the the computer showed that AOL had tried to credit my Mastercard but that Mastercard rejected it.

He stated he would manually send out a refund check and I made sure that he had my new address. He told me it would take up to 72 hours. I have never received the check. Then when I called AOL on Aug 2, 2003, some machine answered the phone stating that AOL Shop was no longer taking any orders and to use the internet to correspond with customer service. I did this and emailed back and fourth to a Desiree ****. She stated that AOL was never credited this amount from Mastercard and could not help and gave me another email address to write to complain.

She also gave me the phone number to AOL Billing and when I called this number, The customer service person I spoke with was Christina and she said she could not help me and that I had to go through the keyword "shopchat" to chat with someone else about this situation. I am clearly getting the run around, can't get ahold of anyone that wants to take responsiblity for this, and am cleary being ripped off. I would like to join the class action suit as this kind of negligence with AOL has got to stop. Please HELP!!

When I belonged to aol I ordered a dgital camera never got it but got charged. ordered a bedspread, was sent the wrong size. they told me to send it back and they would send the correct size. I sent the wrong one back never received the right one. I also joined their marketing program with which they were supposed to send me a package containing free airline tickets hotel discounts and more.

Got charged and never received anything. anyone wondering how they make so much money, here is a sample.

Why was my order 00014312,RCA T13208 13 inch Color TV/VCR cacelled? I did not cancel it and still want it if it is available. I called in to advise that original order had a bad address. I did receive the viewcam that I ordered at the same time. Please contact me explain or advise that the TV/VCR will be shipped

i ordered a webcam that was on special.. and received an email from aol shop direct, that there was a problem with my credit card and to check with my bank. i called cust.serv.@aol shop direct.. and was told that they were out of the promotional camera for $69.95 and had shipped another webcam for $174.00.

i said i didnt want the other camera..they said it was "too late"..and said they had "found" the original camera that i ordered...and asked if i still wanted it. i answered that "yes" i still wanted the original webcam..and asked if they would please cancel the other camera.. again..they said it was "too late" that my credit card had already been charged.. they said for me to return the "unauthorized webcam" and they would credit my account...and to include the receipt for postage...

i asked how it was possible to send me something that i didnt order...and told them it sounded like a "bait and switch" to me!!!, especially after they told me they had the original webcam..and when i 1st contacted them..they said it was out of stock!!!

I ordered a movie from aol shopping and it has been 3 months and I still have not recieved it.

I ordered 2 items on Feb 18. One arrived on Feb 25. I have yet to receive the other. When I contacted UPS I was told that I needed a tracking # but the # given to me on the missing item was the same as the delivered item. Now what do I do? total value of the missing item including s&h was$52.45. Am I supposed to eat this loss?

on feb 15th i ordered a prepaid nokia cellphone from aol shop direct. i was told aol would send me an e mail wihtin 48 hours telling me the status. i have emailed several times, made phone calls. at first they said the phones were in stock but did not know why it wasnt shipped out. on the 24th they said the phone would be shipped out that day. now they tell me the phone is on backorder and i will receive an email within 48 hours telling me the status.

my next step will be the state attorney general in tennessee and texas. also i will be contacting the better business bureau in both states. these people will not continue to ignore the consumer. i have not received something that i have paid for. i travel to remote locations and need this cell phone for vehicle breakdowns or medical emergencies.

I ordered a digital camera. My order number is 151188982. I never received the camera.

I have been trying to track down my order for an e vision digital camera. I ordered one back in august I believe. It never arrived. I contacted AOL and found out that it had been returned by me- of course that wasn't true- it never arrived. I reordered the camera and was told that it would take 7-10 business days. It has been almost 4 weeks now and I still don't know where it is.

I've been trying to find out the tracking number but their web site is always down. I have spoken to several customer care persons, and everything will be down until the 14th of Oct. Today is the 11th.In the meantime, I'm being charged for something I don't have. The first time I placed the order the billing arrangements were to be paid so much monthly. When I re-ordered, they charged me the whole amount at once.

Yes I ordered a aol point and speak and it was never sent to my house and tey keep on billing me with late charges for something i never got if they wanted to make sure i got it they should send all there merchandise through ups

I ordered a Polarooid Camera and received a Kodak Camera. Not what I ordered. What do I do to Receive a Polaroid and return the Kodak?

I ordered a digital camera and accesories &70/85 was withdrawn from my checking account and have tried to with drawn payment I do not mind the payments but I do mind not getting the merchandise I have contacted you people at AOL Direct Shoping and in good faith gave you my account # but do not take any more money from the account unless you send the camera also I would like my &70.85 refunded please I have filled out forms for you but have not heard a word I have blocked any more payment from you at my bank till I hear something or received camera would like to hear something soon Thank you

I Really don't have a complaint about the product I ordered, however I was missing one of the articles that was supposed to be a part of the packaing. I odered a Palm M105 #0003848 Organizer I received everything except a stylus. Iknow there should have been one in the package however it was not included.

The package arrived intact and was not opened until I opened it. I don't feel it's necessary to return the complete package but I would like for your company to send me the missing piece. My Order is #146920084 Document #123838039 Source Code 0057547N Thank you

I ordered an Evision Megapro digi-cam, never recieved it but was still charged for it.

If they bill our account it will cause checks to bounce resulting in check fees and late payments. I have called the number on the package and also I went to the web site to speak to a live customer service representative, I got a recorder at the phone number and the customer service on the web said there was no one available at this time.

Well I ordered a printer fax machine for my husband for fathersday and I never recieved it. the order#146880318

i ordered a visioneer digital camera from aol shop direct in january or february of 2002. i already had one and wanted another for my spouse because it was easy to use and convenient. i never received the camera and thought that the order had not gone through.

i began packing because we are going to be moving soon and was checking over my bank statement because i couldn't figure out why my account was off and noticed that i was being charged for a camera that i never received. i no longer want the camera and would like to know how to get the money back that they have been deducting out of my account for it. i would appreciate if you could help me straighten out this situation.

Several months ago I ordered a Karoake Music Machine online. I was sent a tracking number for the USPS, I never received the machine and when I tried to contact USPS I could not find the tracking number. I figured that the item was not available. Now I have received a notice that another payment was charged to my credit card. I would please like my machine or to have my payments refunded to my credit card. Up til now I was very satisified with AOL shop direct, but now I fell cheated.

On May 26, 2002, I ordered a Hunter air purifier which was on special for and $129.95 + $.99 shipping. I received my confirmation order, etc. and have been looking out for its delivery. It is June 6 and I have not received my order. I contacted AOL DEAL CENTRAL, live Chat, and have a copy of our transaction.

Apparently my credit card company has not authorized my order. There is NO reason that I can think of which would make this so. Of course I will call my credit card comapany to find out the reason. However, AOL never contacted me to let me know that this was the case. Hopefully, no one has used my credit in the interum.

I ordered aol shop direct in order to get free personal organizer. I've never received the organizer. I want to cancel my aol shop direct membership and get the organizer as advertised.

I ordered from AOL Shop Direct and the product is back ordered. I received a notice with customer # 53274635 order # 122488354 and item # 00011969. I was told to call the toll free number of 1-800-299-0329 to cancel the order. I have tried repeatedly to reach this number to cancel this order. I cannot get through. PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER.

I ordered a RB-Visioneer scanner from AOL sho direct on July 11, 2000. I waited for about three weeks for some type of response stating that the product had been backordered or that it would be a little while before the product would be shipped. I looked for a number to contact them and had a hard time finding the number on the internet, because the site had a probelm coming up.

So I had to use the contact form to send them a message, which said that I would receive a response in the next 24 hours, but it never came. So I then went back to the same area and filled out the contact for to cancel the order, but I never received a response. I filled out this form on August 1, 2000. I received email today stating that my order had been shipped. When I called them and spoke to Suzette to ask them why they shipped the order, instead of cancelling the order as I asked she said that they never received the notice. I then told her that I was going to refuse the order and that UPS could ship it back. Suzette tells me that it is up to me to make sure that they get it back and that by refusing the order UPS will trash it. I told Suzette that I could not understand how they received all other emails that I had sent except the cancellation notice.

Then she asked me if I wanted to order another special of the day. And I said "NO, I WOULDN'T RECEIVE IT ANYWAY. I'D BE PAYING FOR SOMETHING ELSE I WOULD NOT RECEIVE!!!!!!!"

In my August 1999 AOL Visa monthly statement there was an enclosure from AOL Shop Direct, offering a computer by eTower at $639.95 after rebate.

I phoned the order in on Sept. 4, 1999 (the enclosure states 2-4 weeks delivery).. As of early November, I have received nothing -- no computer and no communications from AOL Shop Direct.

I have made repeated phone calls to this number, probably over 10 and have yet to talk to a single person (except for one instance) because I am constantly put on hold, listening to waltzes and concertos. I have even tried every number offered in their recording hoping to get someone ... anyone.

I estimate that over three hours have been spent trying to reach this company. It's as though this were a phantom phone number.

The phone calls were made on Oct. 18, October 25 and Oct. 27. On Oct. 18 I did speak to a gentleman named Steve, he found the order on his computer and told me the computer was sitting in their shipping department and he didn't no why, but he would look into it and get back to me. I never heard from Steve

This inept handling of my order has violated all direct marketing regulations such as notifying the customer within 30 days if there is a delay of their order.

Last week I mailed them a letter -- and got no response. To make matters worse, I went to their WEB site and in their Customer Service window there is a form to fill out. Guess what, it can't be filled out. At least not on my computer. I try to put the cursor in the boxes and it will not take the information.

Not only do I use AOL software; I carry an AOL Visa Card; I use their phone service and I shop in the on-line depts. I am befuddled and angry. I have never had such an unpleasant experience.
