I placed an order on 03/25/2009 with an American Express Gift Card, I received an email confirmation of shipment on 03/26/2009. Bare Necessities charged the gift card I used twice for one order. I paid a household bill with the remainder on the gift card and because of Bare Necessities error, I am being charged a return fee of $25.00 from my utilities company. I sent an email to Bare Necessities on 03/27/2009. I contacted Amex they said that I have to resolve this with the company.
I received a voice mail and email saying I do apologize that the system authorized your account twice, this is an issue that we are currently addressing.
I am delinquent with my utility bill and there will be a late charge and a return payment fee.
