My wife Kathy had been looking over the biddegg site and then we read all their explainations that we could find.Then being the suckers we are,purchased a bidpack,and began to bid.Right away on 9/12 I started email and asked for help on the confusing "end times"and count downs.No answer.Today on 9/13 We bid on a nintento wi,and it was supposed to end today,according to the description I printed ouit.Well guess what,after bidding right up to the end,than the "counter"starts again and for 24 hrs,which puts it into 9/14.I am shocked that PayPal has anything to do with this Rip Off.I am asking for our bid pack money back and a quick exit out of a true and provable dishonest site.

Bidegg is totally rip off. It is the worst bidding site. They keep on changing the counter. Even when the criteria is met. they mention one date when the bidding will end, and then change that date. People should be aware of registering to this site. I have seen my counter changing over 2 days, even the date got change one time. Their customer service mentioned that, the product price has to reach at least 19%, for the resetting of the counter to stop. But it is not written anywhere in their site. Also the adverstisement in their site is totaaly contradictory to this statement. The advertisement shows Nikon D90 sold for 88% discount, for $29.70. This is toattly misleading to the consumer.
I spent over $100 Aussie dollars paying through Paypal for eggs to bid with and spent over 24 hours on the the day the item was to expire. After the 24 hours they had changed the date of when the auction would end. This is such a scam as you can not win. There are thousands of other people on this site getting ripped of every minute of the day.
I am disgusted that Paypal have anything to do with this site. They should be closed down and Paypal should refund us rather than pay to Bidegg. I am also going to close my Paypal account as I don't have any faith in them any more either. I emailed Bidegg on their contact us site and have had no contact from them whatsoever.
Went to bidegg.com to bid on a nikon d90 digital camera that said it had 5 minutes left in a "live" auction. I registered for "free" and then was told I had to purchase bid eggs to bid on the item.
So I got suckered in and bought two seperate times of 13 bid eggs for $9.95 paid by cc through Paypal website.
I found out that actually the bid counter is NOT live and resets as soon as you get 3 seconds before bid ends and resets to anywhere from 3-15 minutes again and each bid egg is worth 15 cents increase in bid.. and puts you supposedly up at the top bid. but regardless of if you are a high bidder you lose.. The counter resets automatically and even shows a real end to the auction... date, time. etc. but I have seen two other auctions that are to be done several days before and yet it is still resetting and taking in others money bids they buy.. They show you can get FREE bid eggs by signing up through some sponsors, etc.. It is a rip off and most people cant get the items after they do win and the numbers for these people to contact is fake and disconnected and they have a godaddy.com email that is not legate. This company is simple just taking paying customers money and no return on investment of a "real-time" auction!!! Rip-off!! I have screen shots to show I bid on item several times and also to show an expired auction still running...
Got me too! Should have googled the name (like I almst always do) but I bought the bids ($30 some dollars worth) and it only took two bids to realize I was being scammed. Wonder if I can work with Paypal to get my money back? This website may disappear before any of us get our money back. Right now, we should all print every page from their site for future references. The "powers that be" needs to get rid of this website immediately before may more people lose their money.
I agree with all the other complaints listed. I got sucked in, but only bought 30 bids for $22. Started to bid, but the timer keeps resetting and I wrote an email to complain. The only reply is a generic one stating if its an emergency to provide a phone number so they can call. Never got a call. Don't waste your time and money! They say no reserve, but I bet what they are doing is waiting until they get enough bids to cover the cost of the item.
Charging .75 per bid so they are ripping consumers off as they do not hold to their own rules. Timer reached zero multiple times when I was the high bidder and never won an auction!

I was bidding on some of their items I noticed one of the item date has expired and people are still bidding.
and now I can't get on to the site I get a message saying page cannot be found. Icame to the conclusion ITS A BIG SCAM. And I Want my money back.
Per their explanation, Bidegg is an auction site where auctions are counting down with only a few minutes left. If you are the high bidder at the end of an auction, you get the item for the price you bid. Bid packs are sold in multiples (10 for $7.50 or .75/ea. Each additional bid raises the price on the auction by .15 and adds several seconds to the countdown timer.
What the site actually is - a bunch of fake timers trying to get people to bid on items and waste their bids. The timers almost always reset, even when no bids have been added. Eventually, the auction expires and someome "wins" for what seems to be a low price - but not if you do the math - $1300 camera is "won" at 258.30. Take 258.30 and divide it by .15, and you get the number of bids - 1721 (-1 for the .15 the auction starts at). Multiply that times the .75 bidegg.com gets from the bid, and you get $1291.50. Add the $258.30 the winner has to pay for the camera and bidegg.com takes home $1550 for a $1300 retail camera. That's a scam in MY book!
