CityMax.com offers website templates and hosting. I sent a request to CityMax to discontinue my service on November 1st. I noticed in February that my credit card was still being charged. I called them this time and told them that I wanted my service canceled. They asked me to jump through so many hoops to get it canceled, that I just contacted my credit card company and told them to not allow anymore charges from CityMax.

I contacted CityMax again to see if I could get a refund back to November. They wanted proof that I requested the cancelation back in November. I couldn't provide them with proof because the request was made through their website customer service link (which is incidentally the only method allowed for canceling service). They also refused to send me a list of transactions that I made with them (for tax deduction purposes).

I only lost a total of about $80, but I believe they would have continued to deduct from my credit card if I hadn't blocked them from charges.
