Google Easy Street

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

Exactly the same as all the rest of you happened to me! I got the rudeness. I got the runaround. I got told, "The check is in the mail..." I am out $129.95! And I am a single mom. I need that money! I tried to call all the numbers I had called in the past to follow up. Those numbers are all discontinued now! What are we supposed to do?

Please reimburse to my credit card account the amount of $130.99. I received this email stating that I was not signed up and needed to finish signing up, which I never did. I signed up for the $1.99 special, but received this email instead. There should have been no moneys taken out of my account. You not only charged me $1.99, but also $129.99, even though you sent me this email stating that I was not signed up. Not a professional way to do business.

This Google Easy street is a scam. I thought I was paying $1.95 for shipping for some information for my daughter. I did this on a Thursday night. She and I both logged into the that night and looked it over a little. Her computer crashed the next day. I happened to log into my bank account on Sunday, there was a $1 charge on from the night I ordered the "information" for her and a $129.95 charge posted that day. I didn't have a clue what it was since either post didn't show up on my account as what they said the "$1.95" would.

I tried to call the phone number it showed on my statement, I got a message saying they were only open Monday-Friday. After several attempts to call on Monday morning and a while on hold, I finally talked to some lady, explaining to her I was only paying $1.95 for shipping and handling for information for my daughter, and that I was on a fixed income, and they had wiped out my bank account.

She just said she was sorry, but it was legal and binding. I told her if they weren't going to be there to take calls, it should at least be 3 business days to cancel, I didn't even have 3 full days before they charged my account. I told her it was a rip off, and we couldn't even get logged into the site, it kept saying invalid user name or password, and I was using the one they sent.

I should have checked into it further, but it "looked legitimate", I want to see these people stopped. It's wrong what they are doing to people.

I got an email stating I could make all this money, and they referenced google so much, and it only costed $1.00, so I did it, and it automatically sent me to some different web page and I didn't read it or do anything, and 3 days later my account was charged $129.95, and this caused overdraft fees. The people are heartless when you call and try explaining that you did not sign up for this. I hope nobody else falls into this scam.

This company advertise as an affiliation with google, and to support their claim they quoted several media sources which turned out to be bogus. The initial add had been removed, so I cannot list all the sources they stated as "excellent reviews." I read from another consumer who did a research on this company claims, and found out that the media comanies did not exist, they only looked genuine. This company is still doing business, and ripping people off, and they are in no way affiliated with google.

In addition to the 129.95, I also have to cancel my credit information, and it caused me to distrust anyone doing busines in the internet. This will cause people who want to do genuine business to lose customers. I went thu a lot of stress only to have this company laugh at me, and to have my credit card company tell me that what this people are doing is "legal"

I answered Google advertisement about a job offer. It was formulated to offer home based work, with hour of choice, placing ads on different web sites, and filing data. The only charge was $ 1.95 for a training instructions I would receive in the mail. Google was opening their doors to people to earn some income in this hard economic times, and act quickly, because there was only a few packages left.

I submitted my info, and was automaticly linked to an Easystreet. I thought it was just the part of job offer, did not take a closer look, and decided to wait for my mail.
I had to leave town, and per my return, I noticed an e-mail confiarming my order. Since I did not receive anything in mail, I sent an e-mail asking about it. When I spoke with customer representative, she was very understanding, did not know about any job offers, and because of all confusion, she convinced me to take a free year trial, in case I decide to start any kind if e-business. Still no mentioning of any extra charges.
My next credit card statement had a charge of $129.95 from Cashsuccess,AZ.

I called the number, and this time, I was informed that I had 3 days to cancel their offer, otherwise I would be charged a nonrefundable fee of $129.95. No matter how I tried to explain about signing up for a job,Dan was very rude to me. He said that I was supposed to read a fine print about terms and conditions. Botttom line was : it was too late, they had my info, and I was charged for something that I did not order, or understand. I am disputing the charge , and I hope this people don't end up with my money.

It is a fraud, and cleverly formulated scam to get people desperate for work to send their information. They know what they are doing. It is a deliberate, misleadig advertising to take money from people, and it has nothing to do with Google. It is so sad that we have to spend hours to check, and recheck everything. Please don't make the same mistake.Googleeasystreet will steal your money through a faulse advertisement!

I am still waiting for my credit card co. to dispute the charge. More than money, it is an awful feeling of being taken advantage of. This situation has created such anger and distrust. This is not what I want to have in my heart. I hope there is a way to stop and punish cyber crime of any kind. It seams that we can not trust anybody any more.

Their website's headlines says "Google Easy Street", the extent of their service is providing work from home options to generate income. It is a $1.99 trial fee. However, a day after they charged me the $1.99 they also charged my bank account with $129.95. When I called to dispute the charge and ask for a refund they said that the $129.95 charge was consented when I clicked on the "submit" button. However, NO where on the page where you enter your information does it say a $129.95 charge will be made. Even the confirmation page states on the amount of $1.95 will be charged.

I spoke to a "customer care" representative who was very hostile. I told him I will contact my bank and dispute the charge. He still refused to refund. When I asked for his corporate address he also refused to give me that information. I then spoke to his "supervisor", Allen Hughes who had promised me a refund and told me that someone will be in touch with me to finalize the refund. He even gave me an extension to reach him directly. A week has passed and no one has contacted me, when I tried his extension it was not legit, it just took me to a generic customer care inbox.

I will be contacting my bank to dispute this charge and plan to take more actions to make people aware of their scam. It is perfectly fine with consumers are aware of the fee or if it's clear and upfront. However, it is not clear. It doesn't state that you'll be charged an extra $129.95 when you confirm your payment.
