I ordered a knife from this company online. In the order form, there are two parts - shipping and billing. An email address was requested in the shipping portion of the forms to which I included the ship to email address as well as phone number. For the billing information, I used PayPal and had a separate billing address as well as email. Additionally, there was a portion of the form that has space for special instructions. I instructed that the bill information not be sent to the recipient as it was a gift and I did not want her to know how much the item cost.


This gift was a Christmas present for my sister. I had intended on wrapping a separate gift for her when she returned home to surprise her. However, she received an email the day after I purchased the gift with the order information. It not only included the price of the gift, but that she would be receiving it as well.

I emailed a complaint to the company requesting that they rectify this situation. The response that I received was "Had it occurred to you to not use her email address?" I found this to be rude and very demeaning. I have ordered online multiple times and NEVER had this issue before. When an order form requests information on the SHIPPING page, it refers to all SHIPPING TO information, NOT BILLING. I'm enraged by this response from the company. This was VERY inappropriate customer support. Additionally, their response to rectify the situation was for the seller to recall the product. When I requested that the item not be recalled as my sister is already expecting the item, the seller stated that they did not wish to do business with me. I have no intentions of doing any future business with this company, but it is highly inappropriate that I inform my sister that the gift that she was expecting is no longer going to be sent to her. That her Christmas gift was recalled because the seller of the item was rude and very impolite. I have never seen anyone do business in this fashion.
