On Jan 8th 2010 I brought my 13 yr old rott weiler to bluebross animal hospital in north hollywood (BIG MISTAKE) I brought her in because she was panting and pacing, unable to sleep for days. The doctor who is co-owner of this establishment saw my pet and intentionally did unnecessary procedures with my pet to create a large bill. He sent my dog home,never calling me back after I called with questions. Prior to coming in I asked the manager Julie if this would be the proper facility to bring my pet and were they limited in the services that would best suit my dogs situation. I was later told after performing xrays and blood work that "nothing was wrong with my pet" yet suggesting that I take her to an emergency hospital.

The staff suggested I sign up with CARECREDIT. and did agree to apply. I was approved and during the process I continued to ask questions so that I can get a FULL understanding on how this works. Christina first showed me a chart of payment plans with different options. The first chart was wrong she explained. They told me I needed to wait until the bill was final before I COULD CHOSE A PLAN. Ariel showed me a different chart when it was time to decide. This offered 12 month 16 24 36 and 48 month plans with specific monthly payments. I explained my limits (under 50 dollars per month) they added 300 dollars to my 700 dollar bill making it 1,000 even, knowing I needed to purchase medicines in the future.

Within a week I had to call back as I myself discovered what they should have as doctors. My dog simply had dementia and arthritis. After the 300 credit was used For her meds, I made one additonal purchase for 19 dollars exceeding 1,000. I asked Ariel again, before signing, would this change anything on the plan I chose since it slightley exceeded the 1,000 36 month plan I CHOSE. She said NO it won't. I later found out it did. When I called Carecrredit, I found out it doubled my interest rate and made my payment go up. i spent the next three days corresponding with Christina she acknowledged they made a mistake and stated she would fix it.

We then discussed changing it from MY original choice of 36 months to a 48 a month plan and in the meantime I asked could she see if Dr W ( a dr who had since approved 1 extra month of the arthirtis med and dementia meds) without my dog needing to revisit since it was so traumatic for her) She stated Dr. W oked it. W were going to now proceed with 3 months worth and prebill my account so the plan would not change. For the next three days I had to begin to insist to get answers of how much the payment would be since they did not know how to do this change. When I called care credit they told me how Blue cross are the only ones to make changes and fix any errors.

The establishment sells promotional packages yet has continuously misinformed me on a plan they set me up with. Ariel made the errors and put me on the wrong plan. When I insisted they fix it Christina began to become frustrated with me because I needed to know the terms before agreeing to the next transaction. She told me carecredit would not fax the information yet they were about to make an additional transaction. I explained to her, I felt uncomfortable since this establishment misinformed me after the last transaction causing the first month to change the original terms. They changed their mind to fill my dogs perscription.for The next three days they refused to tell me what they did with my account started attacking me and stating it wasn't their problem and to call care credit. Dr l already had resentment toward me as I expressed to the staff I was disappointed with his lack of communication and for not being able to diagnose my dog properly, then suggesting I bring her back in for a complete different procedure on her mouth. He picked up my call in the middle of this process and yelled at me and said they would not give my dog her meds and "come get the file"

They continue to ignore the billing problems and have since made the change to 48 months to my plan yet not fulfilling the prescription. They have not been capable of providing me accurate information since day one and have the attitude they don't care they made a mistake. The last place I left off was I would want to proceed with the 48 month plan and going home with (based on the agreement to fill a 3 month prescription for my dog) she has since been in pain as the first month ran out. The more I call the more rude they become I tried to remain clam and continued to beg them for answers and they would hang up.Telling me do what i have to do they don't want to deal with it. They seem to think it's ok to continue with the last transaction knowing they are the only ones that can make changes.

I cried I begged them to put their resentment aside to resolve this and at least fulfill the offer to give her her meds. The plan is STILL NOT ON THE PLAN I CHOSE. I had to call the police to ask them for assistance so I can at least get an answer to what they last did with my card, (care credit cannot see any activity for days) Their answer i then you jsut have to wait to see what it is when it posts. Christina actually proceeded with the 48 month plan and then charged for meds then refunded it after they changed their mind. THIS ACTIVITY ALL WITHOUT MY KNOWlEDGE OR APPROVAL. Just utilizing my card as they chose without my authorization.

The one time I got upset I apologized and they have remained arrogant and not considering the pain my dog is now in as she has been whining and crying out since running out of her meds. Please be aware that with this process I had to provide Christina the proper number given to me by carecredit for them to correspond as it is a separate number I have as an account holder. They are clearly selling insurance packages with NO knowledge how to bill properly, lying to customers about transactions and unable to inform me or answer questions. They made it clear they do not care about who I contact or file a complaint with. They made it clear they do not care about my pet and they don't have an apologetic attitude for putting a customer through this nightmare. They only tell me go call care credit. I have filed a complaint with them and I have been put in a position where I cannot utilize the credit I have been approved for due to them "changing their mind" to help my pet and expressing resentment for my questions and them not knowing what to do when they make a mistake.
