My complaint is quite similar to that submitted by Reina of Alpharetta, Georgia, who logged a complaint on this site on February 18 2010. In May 2008, I placed an order for two handmade urns in the likeness of my two recently deceased cats. Having lost two of our furry children within months of each other, my wife and I were devastated and saw the urns as a lovely means of honoring them and as a way for us to heal and move on. As such, we paid Stephanie * of Eternal Pet Studio $500 to commission the two urns.
Although Stephanie was quick to cash my check, she has not been quick to deliver the urns. For that matter, she has not even been quick to respond to e-mails. More than once, she has taken over three months to reply to an e-mail, even when multiple follow-up letters are sent. At this point, May 2010, it has been two years since she received my payment and no urns have been delivered. I have now sent her a demand for a refund. We shall see if it bears fruit. If not, I shall have to pursue legal action. This is not the way in which I would have chosen to honor and remember my beloved feline friends. I recommend strongly against anyone using the services of Ms. * and Eternal Pet Studio.
