Fine Feline Furniture

Chicago

Rita of Sunbury, OH, writes:
I ordered cat furniture from the company after I read an article about the furniture in the Columbus (OH) Dispatch. At the time I ordered, I spoke to someone at the company who said it would be about 6 weeks to receive the order. The check (for $139) was cashed on Aug. 25. In late October, I started calling the company to find out what happened. I could never get a "live" person, only voice mail. I have left messages but no one ever returns my call. In late November, I wrote a letter to them but I never received a response. The letter did not come back either.

In December, I contacted the Illinois Attorney General's Office and filed a consumer complaint form. The AG's only response to me has been that they have received no response and had sent a reminder letter to the company. The company then had an additional 10 days to respond.I am "out" the cost of the furniture.

It sounds purrrrty certain to us that the fine felines have flounced off somewhere else. Furniture stores are always going out of business without delivering their customer's furniture, so why should cat furniture stores be any different?
