I bought a Healthy Hoops toy for my 8-month-old puppy. I gave it to him, went into the kitchen, started heating up soup, checked on him & the kids, he was still playing with it, so I went back into the kitchen. I checked again 10 minutes later, he was a little too quiet & I found him with the inner parts scattered all over the carpet & in his mouth. I took the toy away & took pictures of the damaged toy. I could not believe that he destroyed it that fast, literally within 20 minutes from giving it to him, he destroyed it. I was so upset, because the inner parts could cause an obstruction in his intestines or worse.
It makes me so mad. He is only 38 lbs. & is an 8-month-old Terrier mix. Thank god he wasn't a bigger dog. I know this was a toy to be played with my dog, but at the same time I did not think it could harm him if he just chewed on it for a short while. The toy is destroyed, fabric is torn and the inner part is exposed & destroyed. I took pictures. I just don't want other dog owners to buy this product. It is not safe!
