This company refuses to fine the neighbot above me for allowing their kids to make jumping and bumping noises over may head at all hours of the day and night. I have done everything from trying to talk to my neighbors, to calling the police, to writing countless letters to the association. They have not done anything to remedy this situation. Instead they are getting annoyed with me because I refuse to accept their silence in this situation. Just recently, I've been told that they are selling their condo and that the board feels that it is a waste of time to call a hearing. I have had to live with this blatent disrespect for my rights for over a year. It's not fair and there should be something I can do...even if they are moving. They have caused great distress in my life! And there seems to be no one who will help me.

I am a substitute teacher and a grad student. In order to get paid, I must go to work. I have had nights when I was awakened by running and bumping on the floor and could not get back to sleep. I have missed work due to tiredness. I have taken sleeping pills just to get to sleep...something I had never done before in my life. I got scared that they may be addictive, so I stopped taking them. The noise, however, has not stopped. In fact, because they are moving, they seem to have the attitude that they can make as much noise as they want to.
