Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I sent in the rebate form and the copy of the original upc as asked and they returned it, claiming I never sent the copy of the upc.

Three rebates never received. I have been to the store, gave Ron copies of all the documents I had. He said he would take care of it by contacting the people involved. The purchases were for (1) Fabric Mgrs Chair, $79.99; (2) Art Explosion, $79.99; and (3)Fabric Mgrs Chair $79.99. These 3 items were all received. BUT NOT THE PROMISED REBATES of $30 for each chair and $10 for the Art Explosion for a total of $70.
Received one email notifying me that the rebate for one chair was denied because the date rec'd did not correspond with the promotional period. I had gone to OfficeMax in Toledo to get the Mail-In Rebate Directory and they gave it to me and never told me that the date did not correspond with the promotional period. Another email I rec'd on 9/23/03 read "here is the rebate for the chair your daughter requested>" Rebate by email?...never rec'd.

I have talked to Ron maybe a dozen times and he always promised to get back to me although he did tell me that one of the numbers to correspond with the rebate was wrong. Come on..they know what chairs I paid for so what is the problem if one number was wrong? I even left a letter for Ron asking him about my rebates. He didn't have the courtesy to call me let alone follow up on my problem with the powers that be.

Ordered a couple of items with rebates; was unable to receive any action except told the 800 number to call who handled the rebates for those products. Could not get a "real" person, just to go to their web site. There you had to have a user's name, etc. to get any information. This problem went on for close to 3 months (I had already been waiting for 2 months for the rebates.) I must say I did leave some nasty messages on a help line; let management know what I thought of the rebate program and their store.
Just last week I finally received my rebates after waiting 6 months! My son has had the same problem of waiting at least 3-4 months for the rebate(s).
