I ordered medication from drugstore.com that BioScrip Pharmacy Services handles the pharmacy end of the business. The order which I placed was never received. I called drugstore.com and they transferred me to BioScrip. I told them that the order was never received and the person, who helped me over the phone, told me that the order will go out the next day. I received the replacement order but when I checked my American Express statement, I noticed two charges. I immediately called drugstore.com and I was told that the BioScrip is not willing to reverse the 2nd charge. I called my American Express and I told them that I placed one order and I was charged twice for the same medication. Secondly, the second charge was not authorized by me since I never received the first order. American Express investigated the case and they determined that there shouldn't have been a second charge and they credited my account.
Yesterday I received a statement from BioScrip demanding the money. As I have mentioned, I ordered one medicine and I received one, but I was charged twice for the same prescription. No one in my household signed or received the package. This is total harassment by BioScrip and I am concern that this will end up in collection.
