This company called my house and said they could help me get out of debt if I had credit card, and I had to use one credit card to get started so I gave them my credit information. My card was charged $995.00 on June 15th, 2009. I received a book and several phone calls and they did call my creditors to try to work with them, but nobody would work with them and nobody has done anything. I was charged $995.00 for nothing. And now I'm deeper in debt. This company is a rip-off. Please help or tell me what I can do to get a refund.

In Sept. or Nov., I was called by them about my credit debt. Against my better judgment, I agreed to their terms. It cost me $1,000 charged to two credit cards. They made one attempt to help me reduce my interest rates, but I have not been successful in getting in touch with them. It's been over four months. Now their website has finally been taken down, and no phone calls go through. Please steer me in the right direction for help! Thank you.

I was originally contacted and charged $895.00 on 2-29-2009, being promised a savings of $3,000 in interest payments or gladly refund my full $895.00. The day we had conference calls with all the banks, I knew they could not save me any money and I asked for a refund. I was told to just wait until I got my Financial Plan, which I again called and asked for a refund. I was told it would take 90 days. After 90 days, I was told they had changed hands and I now had to fill out a request form. I did that and waited another 90 days and then told it was 90 business days. After that, the phone was disconnected and all I could find online was positive documentation which I'm sure they wrote their own testimonials.

On October 12, 2009, I wrote the NC Attorney General, to which I never even so much as received an acknowledgment from. After that I was contacted by a Todd ** claiming to be working for PLS consulting who was trying to clear up all these matters. He gave me a new phone number (866-642-5111) and said he would call me in 3 days. When he didn't, I called and asked for him and was transferred. He hum hawed around, put me on hold and after 30 minutes, I hung up and called back only to be told he'd stepped out of the office.

I have sent them e mails, called at least 30 times only getting a recording that they will call me back in 48 hours. Of course this is an out-and-out lie. Today, April 23,20l0, 14 months later, I called once more and a recording says my call cannot be accepted. To name a few, I have dealt with the last being Todd ** but previously a Nick **, Nicole, Cheryl, Frank, Ryan **, Dorsha ** and a Cassandra, plus a lot that never gave me a name. They're probably all fictitious anyway.

I would appreciate any help you could give me as I have had some major financial set backs in the past year and $895.00 is too much to throw away for scam artists like these people.

April 13, 2009, I paid $895 to this company to help me with my credit debt. I was told they would work with my credit card companies to reduce my interest rates to help me pay off my debt more quickly. I have heard nothing from them. In fact, I had to call them and ask when they would be contacting me after I paid my fee. I was sent a booklet that essentially told me to continue to make my credit card payments. I have requested a refund several times and was told they would get back to me in 3 months. This has happened twice.

I was told they had sent me letters which I have never received. I would get the run around when I would call (if I could get anyone to answer the phone). The company name has changed and the phone number has changed 3 times in a year. This company also will not respond to the Better Business Bureau. Loss of $895, which I could have used towards my credit cards.

In 10/09, I received a call from an agent of CFAB. Although I am usually not an easy mark, I ended up giving them my Amex number on the promise they would help me get lower rates on my credit cards. I shortly discovered this was a disguise for a "financial planning" service which I did not want. I asked for my money back and was told it would take 90 days for that transaction to occur. Well, the 90 days are passed, their telephone number was changed and I am in the process of disputing the charge with Amex. I'm poorer, but wiser. I am out $995.

A man called and said that I was referred by the credit bureau. that my credit card companies want me to work with them. They claimed they could lower the interest and save money, over 5000. The fee was an initial 1400. After 695 up front and the rest later. Having second thoughts I called the company back and asked for my money back. I was told they could not give my money back and I had to give them 1% of my trust and if they did not follow thru with the guarantee they would refund my money. Further more the money came out in increments three separate payments to the same card. This also raised a red flag for me.

When the company called me they were called Financial Freedom Resources. When they finally sent the paperwork they which took 3 months for them to send. They were called CFAB. I also asked again for my money back before the paperwork came. I was promised a refund over ago. They strung me along for months. Then they stated they were under new management and I had to fill out a refund request form. I filled that out waited an additional 4 months only to receive a generic letter stating I would not get a refund according to the policy I signed.

I have been hung up on and ignored and I am out 695 plus the card they put the charge on was at 29.99% so I am out the interest on that as well. The representatives call your card companies and claim to be you. This company does not do anything that you as a consumer can not do yourself for free. I have reported them to the BBB and the FL Attorney general office. There are many legitimate companies out there who really can help get a hold of debt, this is not one of them. I am out $695 + 29.99% interest since august of 2008

On 01/16/2009, I was talked into joining their financial plan to save interest on my credit cards and what I thought my home mortgage. When I found out a few days later that it doesn't pertain to mortgages, I cancelled with a promise to get my money back. Well it's been over 9 months now with only excuses why I haven't received any money. Now when you call them, all you can do is leave a message, and they never call you back. I am just about ready to contact my attorney general and get a lawyer.

The man called and said that the credit bureau had referred my name to him so that I could have a better status because they had me in a wrong category there. He said I was in a high risk category which he said was not true because I always paid my bills and that he was going to lower the interest if I joined this club and he would save me $5000. interest if I followed the plan and paid the minimum. I asked him if I could pay more and he said yes but he kept saying I had to follow the plan which would take 5 years to follow and pay off.

I gave him my sears card earlier to join the club, but now he wanted all of my credit card numbers. He charged my sears card $995. After I hung up and thought about it I realized I had gotten scammed, so I tried to cancel within 48 hours, but they would not answer the phone so we sent an email and a registered letter and finally got them on the phone and they said they could not cancel me, but rather had to send me a review form letter.

T. Culkin who earlier said I could call and talk to him anytime, now won't talk to me about the cancellation. So I called Sears Credit- Mastercard and put in a dispute. The charge did go through my account this morning.
