I responded to a promotional offer regarding online advertising, for a risk-free, first $100 at no charge (set up fee of $6) trial. However, after the first week, Google charged my credit card for advertising services (which were below $100). They have refused to credit my VISA or return my calls. Google has committed fraud and has stolen from me.
Consumer Complaints & Reviews

I went online to sign up for a money market program that was in conjunction with another company (My Internet Payday), that was also advertising on how to make money using online advertisements. The complaint is about the service of the online market system on the website. After I put my information (address, city, state, credit card, expiration date, zipcode and CVV code) on the right hand side of the site, there is an option below stating on whether if the customer wants instant access to the information for $1.95 or ship CD for $2.95 as shipping and handling. I wanted the most inexpensive option.
So, I clicked on the top button which has instant access for $1.95. Further below, there is a button which the customer clicks on that says, "Get Rich Today!" to process his or her order. Once all of my information was processed, I was shown that I could click on the link to download instant access, my order number and the $2.95 charge to my credit card. I know that I clicked on the $1.95 option on top yet, I was being charged for $2.95. So, I e-mailed the same day to the contact form the site gave. I wrote to them, "I will like to cancel out my order, #5201394. I do not want the CD. The site shows that it only cost $1.95 for direct download. Yet, I was charged $2.95 for shipping and handling". This was on June 23, 2009. I noticed on my credit statement $2.95 was still charged to my account on the 26th of June.
So, I called to the 800 number on my statement on July 6, 2009 around 4:00 p.m. due to the holiday and other things. I spoke with a "Brian". I explained the situation to him. He had a "dry" disposition about him. He was not cooperative or cordial. He kept saying that in no way that I would have pushed the $1.95 and that I had to have pushed the $2.95. I asked to speak with a supervisor. He responded in a bland manner stating that supervisors do not take calls, that they may monitor phone calls and they have other things to do (implying that this petty situation is not important to resolve). I could not believe it. The site does not review the customer's order. It just processes the customer's information charging him or her the $2.95 without giving the customer the opportunity to edit his or her order if that were the case. However, I know without a doubt that I clicked the $1.95 button. This amount has not cause any gross economic damage. However, the way the company handles its practices are shady and unethical. I never was credited the $1.00 as time flew by.

In October 2009, I was watching the news on a local news channel (either channel 7 or 9). They reported on an at home business known as Google Profits. The CD was free and all one needed to do was pay $1.97 shipping and handling. I knew a couple of people who might find the information useful, so I ordered the CD, thinking I could check it out before recommending the CD to anyone else. Since the CD appeared to have been verified by the station reporting on it, I did not scrutinize the sign-up Terms & Conditions, a link inconspicuously placed at the bottom
While waiting for the CD to arrive, within 10 minutes of placing the order someone called me and issued a temporary login-id and password. Upon visiting the site and navigating the links I realized I was not interested in doing that kind of business at home. That's where the nightmare began.
On Nov 12, I noticed a charge of $47.50 on my credit card. I immediately called the number listed in the online bank statement informing them I was not interested in the program and I requested a refund. The response from the Google Profit representative was that they would submit a refund request. I was to call within 2-3 business days to determine if refund request was approved. I was given a confrmation number (which I believed to be a confirmation of cancellation).
In the meantime, I called my credit card company, disputed the charge. Since I had not received the CD, the company issued a credit.
On Nov 16, I called Google Profits again as instructed. They informed me that the Refund Dept. denied the refund because I cancelled after the trial period.
On Nov 22, I received an email alert from my credit card company informing me there was "irregular activity" on my credit card and I needed to verify activity before continued use. I called the bank and discovered it was Google Profits again!! This time the charge was $99.00. I called the bank, expalining I had cancelled whatever the "program" was, that I did not authorize transaction and asked them to issue a new credit card with a different number. They told me the $99.00 would carry over to the new card and I would have to file a dispute when the bill arrived.
On Dec 31, I received a bank statement with the $99.00 charge from TQG ONLINEBIZKIT. I called the bank to file a dispute. The first bank representative I spoke with contacted the merchant by phone and we talked on a 3-way conversation. The Google Profit representative said the $1.97 charge was for shipping and handling, but the cost of the CD was $99.00!!! The bank representative said she could not place transaction in dispute, because by this time I finally received the CD. I asked to speak to her manager. The bank manager contacted a different Google Profits representative this time the representative says the charge of $99.00 was because I did not cancel within 30 days. The 3-way conversation ended with the bank manager saying the transaction could not be disputed because of the Terms and Conditions of the program. He then asked the Google Profit representative to confirm cancellation for bank records.

under the Term(which I failed to read) you have 30 days to cancel. Or you will be billed $47.50 monthly and a one time fee of $99.00 .
That's a lot of money down the drain, for
someone unemployed! For $195.99 I received one CD that tells me nothing about how to make money,

I signed up with Google Profits and then canceled my membership about one hour later. I was stll charged $47.50 and a month later charged $99.00 even though I had canceled the membership. They told me that the CD they sent was what cost me $99.00 and they had no record of my cancellation. This is a scam and a ripoff.

OK, I have been scammed too by "Google Profits" The same story: $1.97 then the $47.50 and now the $99.00. Someone needs to get his hands on this. How cruel to do this to people that are only trying to help themselves during hard times. I am currently laid-off and need to supplement my income and thought this was worth looking into.

An online ad talked about how easy it would be to make money online and that I would only have to maintain a web site, to sell items, without mentioning it would cost us. The very next day someone told me that they would ask for money so I canceled it. They are still taking money out of my account and when you are about to lose your home and are having trouble making the car note you cannot afford nearly $50 a month. I want my money back!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot figure out their address, phone # all I find is their name Google. Please someone take action and get our money back or tell me how to do it.

I was online one day and I saw this ad from Goggle about earning money from home. There was a free trail for $1. I filled out all the information requested, including my debitt card number. I hit the submit button and I got an instant message back on same page. It said something about not being eligible or not qualifying because I had already purchased another product from them I I don't remember the exact wording) I assumed OK well that's that. I later noticed that there were two charges to my debit card within a couple of days apart. One for $1 and change and one for $80.50. My statement also showed some kind of foreign exchange.
I called the number listed on the statement and asked what it was for. They told me that it was for Cash Fast. I told them I never got it and so how can I be charged and also to cancel this order. The first rep told me that I could not get a refund so I asked to speak with a supervisor, after being on hold for 6 min. I hung up because I had an appointment to go to. When I got back I called again and this time time the rep told me that I this didn't warrant a supervisor that she could handle it. She proceeded to tell me that since I ordered it, I could not get a refund. I told this was crazy, how can you charge me for something I never got. She said I should have received and email confirmation with password. I never received any such thing. She finally basically said have a good day and hung up on me. I called back and got the same story word by word. I told them I was contacting Consumer Affairs because I believe this is fraud and they are doing this to a number of people not just me.

I called then again 11-05-09 and she saying they will refund only haft of my money. I need my money asap. This people are fault adering they products and charging more money to people who believe can do some extra money on the net.

Google was taking money out of checking account when you are suppose to make money thru them as they say instead they were taking money out they are a rip off people need to stay away from them and they would not put the money back after 2 months trying to get someone on the line. so now i have to change my bank account number and all. They tell you that it only cost a shipping charge of 2.95 for a kit but then you never receive the kit either. so then every month they start charging 79.86 for some kind of fee. GOOGLE IS A RIP OFF!

I inquired about the Google Profits program online and was send a disk about 12 days later. Someone also called and said they would call me back soon. They never did and charged me $ 47.50 to my credit card. I canceld that and disputed the charge with my credit card company.Google a solid good company? I thought so until I was taken by them.

Signed up for advertisement to get CD on 9/22/09 from Google Profits for $1.97.
I saw the $1.97 charge on 9/24 go through. No where on confirm page did it list that I would be charged an additional $47.50 just to sign up for 14 days. I was not told this until I saw on my debit charge which happened. I called their phone to dispute the charges and they refuse to refund the charges. I still have the screen shot from 9/22 on the confirmation page. $47.50 unauthorized by me was charged to my debit card.

I spoke to someone at Google profits and explained my situation, they cancelled my account but would not refund my money.

I was scamed by Google Profits. They sell you a CD for $1.97 and they claim everywhere that that is all it costs. Then they mail you the CD so it takes a few days to a week to get there. Next thing I notice that they took $47.50 out of my bank account when I was hurting the most mind you. I never gave them permission to take that money out of my checking account. They also took out $0.75 for some Hallmark thing too.
When I called them they explained that when I clicked on their email I agreed to a 14 day trail and if I did not cancel within the 14 days I would be automatically signed up for a subscription at $47.50 a month. First of all it had to been in the smallest of print somewhere because I never saw that at all anywhere. They are claiming that it is in big print somewhere but not way.
I am a college student in computer programming there is no way that I would have missed that if it was in a obvious spot. I know that there are many many others out there that got scammed the same way because you can read it on the internet everywhere about the same scam from Google Profits to everyone else.

They advertise a work at home scheme, Google Profits that is risk Free for a trial period of one month. It costs only $1.97 for S & H. But, heaviliy disguised at the bottom of the page in tiny little print and with only a slightly brighter color so you can't see it very clearly( I actually need a magnifying glass to read it even with reading glasses on) of the page it says I'll be charged $99 if I DONT cancel within 1 month and I also agree to the 14 day FREE TRIAL membership for $47.50, which I will also be charged monthly if I don't cancel.
This is a free trial that costs $47.50 which has to be cancelled within 14 days. But it takes about 2 weeks before you recieve the CD and get to try the scheme and by that time they had already charged me $47.50 before i was even able to try it out. I didn't expect that a company as reputable and as rich as google would stoop so low as to be on a par with all the other products advertised deceptively by on-line predators with cunning. Google profits is aptly named. More profits for Google at the costly expense of consumers
They promised to give a refund in 48 hours after arguing with them about how deceptive this scheme was
