I have been trying to apply for a housing grant for disabled people. Yesterday, I received a call telling me that my grant had been approved and that I needed to fill the actual paperwork to receive my check. I was asked to pay for the postage of $1.87, and so I did. I found out this morning that this company has an F rating with the BBB. I called them and requested a refund and told them, shame on them. I live on a small income and feel that they prey on people who need and don't have. I am very angry about this, so if you know the right resources to go to, could you please inform me about them? I applied for a grant finding cd that would only cost me 1.95 for shipping. and would allow me a 7 day free trial. i was billed the above amount and 8 days later my account was debited 69.95. when i called they said the seven days has expired i told them that i did not receive the cd yet. they then said it included use of thier website and the information with access code was emailed to me. i told them i did not receive an email and while on the phone i checked my email again. i finally did receive the email but it came after the seven day free trial! are there any honest people out there that offer honest help?
