Ordered a golf club from them. Advertised "delivery within 7-10 working days". One month later, called them. The club is backordered. Fine. Club shows up. It's the wrong one. Return it for a replacement, and a refund of shipping cost. A few weeks later, call them again. Club is still backordered.
More weeks. Called them again. Club is now "here, but we need to assemble it". More weeks. Called them again. Club is now "discontinued". Um... Ok, give me my money back. They claim they cannot refund to my credit card, and will send me a check. Fine. Several weeks later, I call them. Where's my $? Oh, we haven't cut the check yet. It'll be 2-3 weeks. Um... Two weeks later. Where's my money? "oh, we'll send it out shortly, in 2-3 weeks."
The service rep promises to "expedite" it. A week later, I call them again. Check should "be out in two weeks or so." WHAT? So much for advertising that they will refund "right away".
Carin should have immediately contacted her bank to dispute the charge on her credit card. She should also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, which prohibits this kind of activity.
