Talked with RA Sports, Inc agent Fred Johnson regarding return policy. Was called by him to participate in free trial of golf clubs. I tried the clubs, was dissatisfied, waited the 85 days they require you to try clubs, and then attempted to get an RA# in order to return the clubs. The shipping date, according to UPS records was 10/07/02. That was exactly 85 days ago 12/30/02.

After repeated requests, he refused to give me an RA# in order for me to return your golf clubs. He told me my wife was trying to force me to return the clubs, accused me of not being man enough to stand up to her. Not true, clubs are substandard. Subsequent calls were very dissatisfactory. In one, he claimed he was gone, but it was his voice and he called me by name. The next 2 calls were hung up on and the next call attempts went unanswered.

As the Guarantee and Return Policy states, we must have the RA number in order to return the clubs. I have tried in all possible ways to fulfill my end of the agreement. When I initially spoke to their representative, I was assured that the cost of the clubs, approximately $980, was not to be charged to my credit card until the equipment was kept as final. My credit card company, Cabelas Club Visa, has informed me that they charged my account immediately. I sent them a fax and a letter requesting one last time to honor their written and verbal agreements with me. I faxed a copy and mailed a signature confirmation letter which the post office verified was accepted.

Approximately 1/11/03, I received a letter with an RA #. It stated that I had 15 calendar days to return the clubs with the RA number written on the outside of the box. That gives up until 1/18/03 to get the clubs back to them or they say they dont have to refund the money. Per instructions, the clubs were mailed with the RA # sent. (002765). They were also sent signature confirmation. We have contacted the post office in Santa Ana, and they have advised us that the clubs are at the Santa Ana post office. They have sent several notices and have records of this. Another one was sent 1/15/03. Per the guarantee and return policy, the clubs have been returned, in perfect condition, within the time period. The fax was sent upon receipt of the RA # per the agreement.

We have fulfilled our end of the agreement. They are refusing to pick up the package to fulfill their end of the agreement. As of today, 1/16/03, the clubs are sitting at Santa Ana post office. We talked to George at post office twice. He states they notified RB Sports at least 2 times that clubs are there. RB wont pick them up. He says the Santa Ana post office deals with this all the time with this company. The Better Business Burear has them listed under numerous variations of the name with numerous complaints. We sent RB Sports fax on 1/15/03 notifying them clubs were at PO. Send of fax was successful, have receipt. They are trying to wait until after 18th so they can say we didnt return clubs in time.
