I purchased 3 hang-gliding trips and was told that their policy is payment in full, up-front, before you even make an appointment. We decided we did not want this service and Mr. Kroll decided he did not want to give us back our money and told us to sell the hang gliding trips to someone else -- tough luck is their policy. If you pay, there is no refund.
I took this to small claims court in Richmond and won the case and was awarded payment in full plus court fees. Mr. Kroll told me he felt the judge's decision was "hasty" so he filed for an appeal, which he also lost. The judgement awarded me is the court fee plus the amount I paid to San Francisco Hang Gliding, in full. Mr. Kroll still refuses to pay any amount and has ignored my letter. I am going to have to take him to court yet again for payment.
