Bravo Supermarket

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

While entering the store, I placed my 1-year-old in the shopping cart to sit where a child is supposed to sit. She was holding on to the cart. Going through the door, the side of the door or a sharp object on the cart slice her pinky finger and bruise her other finger beside her pinky. She started crying in pain so loud that everyone started looking. A manager was standing like 5 to 7 feet away from us, and she didn't even come over to see what was going on. I rushed over to the customer service counter and asked if the have a first aid for kids. Her response was "You have to talk to the manager." and she turned around.

I rushed to the manager who was standing there at the time and asked if there is a first aid kit. His response was to go back to the customer service counter. I went back and no one could help me. Finally, the same manager went looking for a bandage. No one asked if my baby was OK; everyone seemed like they didn't care when someone come into the store and get hurt. I didn't call the ambulance, because I didn't think it need emergency service. But after coming home, the finger got swollen and badly bruised. There needs to be better customer service in these stores. My attorney will be contacted. Thank you.

I purchased some spoiled chicken wings (Perdue). I went to return the chicken and the store manager didn't want to give me a refund. He told me that he could not take the chicken back or give me a refund, so I asked for a store credit. He told me no. After verbal disagreements and I threatened to call the police, only then he (store manager) decided to give me a refund. (this is not the first time this happened, and I have also witnessed this with other customers)

This supermarket is the closest to home and at times I am subjected to shop there. Bravo is also known to not only sell "bad" meats and rotten vegetables, but constantly change their prices on merchandise. I wanted to purchase a jar of honey. The price tag $2.09, but it scanned $3.09. The same store manager told me that I had to pay the price that registered on the scanner. I always thought, whatever price was labled was the price the customer paid. I think that Bravo needs to have a thorough inspections on their meats and vegetables as well as their customer service skills. I think they don't realize that the citizens in the neighborhood support their business. All I ask for is alittle respect.
