This company sells a very dangerous pellet gun listed for children over 6 years old. The information on the package calls it Shooter Pellet Gun SP 5200. It shoots small plastic pellets. hundreds of these small pellets drop from a cannister into the chamber and are fired with a lot of force. There is also a warning about a choking hazard for children under 3.
My 3-year-old grandson returned from a weekend visit with his father with a small bruise with an area of raw bloody skin on each of his cheeks. We are unable to communicate with his father so we asked him what had happened. He informed us that his 11-year-old half sister had shot him with red and yellow bullets with his gun. He said he cried so hard and ran so fast that his daddy couldn't catch him. It has taken a month for the wounds to heal.
We are thankful that his eyes weren't hit. We have no control over what happens at his father's house so we are still very concerned about his safety. We were able to find and obtain a replica of the gun that our grandson has identified as like the one he has at Daddy's house.
This item is not a toy. A group of 6 adults, myself and my husband included, were examining the gun and we each shot ourselves and saw that it was very painful and could be disastrous if it were to hit an eye. We had pellets everywhere and couldn't control them from falling out. They would also be a danger if you were to step on them and slip.
